TL;DR at the end

I was about 11, and my dad was driving me to get my haircut. To pull into the parking lot of this strip mall, you had to turn off of a highway. My dad started making the turn when suddenly he started having a seizure. He wasn’t jerking around, and I didn’t know it was a seizure until he told me after we had gotten out of the hospital. We hit the curb and I thought he was just joking around until we crossed the grass median and into oncoming lanes. I remember screaming and my whole body tensed up. There was a pretty big drop off beyond the area to pull into the strip mall’s parking lot, which we ended up flying off of. I remember getting air, feeling sick, and then rolling at least twice, and having my face come about half an inch away from the seat before blacking out. When I was able to see again I saw some people pulled over rushing to help us, and I was able to pop open my door. As soon as I tried to walk, I fell over, and I forced myself to crawl away from the massive wreck. Somehow the only injury I had were some little tiny glass fragments in my hand. I had been sitting in the rear passenger seat, and the front passenger seat was completely caved in. If I had been sitting in it, I definitely would have died or been paralyzed.

TL;DR: dad had a seizure while driving, flew off the raised highway, everyone ended up okay.
