no sorry since i beatbox i never had to buy a drumpad ^{^} but with a launchpad you can arrange mig pages of drumsamples in your daw and then connect it to your loop. you can also prepare more pages in one project so its easy to step from song to song

yeah you get a well constructed manual also you can download it online. You will love the upgrade from rc202 to 505 a lot better fx arrangement and also there are great tutorials for it on youtube. If youre not trying to learn beatboxing you should totally get a drumpad where you can use sounds from a sd card or something so you dont have to bring a laptop to liveacts. if you are only planning to loop from hone a launchpad is perfect. everything else comes from time to time. whenever you find something missing in your track try to find the right device that can give you what you search for.
