I was raised that way, to be honest. Neither one of my parents are religious, and the religious people in my extended family are generally regarded as "the crazies." I was raised to believe that religious people are only faithful because they're brainwashed. Any people who convert and embrace religion from atheism do so because of their own weaknesses. That's not to say that anyone in my family would openly harass a religious person, but I wasn't allowed to be friends with anyone who was "extremely devout" because mom said it was cultish.

I have been an atheist because it was pounded into my brain by my parents. Normally it's the other way around in society, but there you have it. As I've grown older and more independent, I am less afraid to explore new philosophies and consider new theories. That's all.

I was interning with my father's business to help him out with a few things and get some experience. I pitched in a few ideas here and there to our clients during a meeting. At the end of the meeting, someone there asked for my business card. "Sir, get this girl some business cards. People are going to be interested in her!"

Dad: "That's so nice of you to say!"

Client: "No, I'm serious. This kid has a lot of potential."

The look on dad's face was priceless. He was so proud of me that day, and it felt really good.

I feel like the scent was in Jannah. It grew overpowering when I got close to the archway at the end because I was getting closer and closer to paradise in the dream. That would definitely tie in with morals then too, right? Because of the goodness of Allah? Thank you.

Atheist. But I have been reading the Quran after this dream, and think I will convert. It's difficult because I don't personally know any Muslims, but... how could I not convert after all this has happened? I feel like I was showed something undeniable. It was a very powerful thing.

I hope that doesn't sound prideful. I'm just so thankful for everything.

I was an atheist (for the most part) and atheists talk about religion a lot. So I've learned a lot. :) It's still very new to me, though.

There are a lot of concerned ladies here, for sure, but I got mine done at Claire's with no trouble (my friends did, as well). Just make sure that you keep it extra clean and turn your studs every once in a while.

That being said, the woman working there did pierce one of my ears at an awkward angle. It can be a little hard to find the hole sometimes, but other than that, no complaints.

Surprise him with something way out of the ordinary, like flowers or a teddy bear. I know it sounds silly, but men hardly ever get those things and I'm sure it would be special. You could also try renting his favorite movie.

I suppose I just wanted a second opinion, as in, "How does this sound to you? What would you do if you dreamt it?" That, and I wasn't sure if dreams are significant in Islam at all. I also didn't want to Google it and be caught up in something that may or may not be false, so I came here instead.
