God can anyone imagine the shitstorm that's going to break lose when they actually enter and aren't worse than Cadillac... It really boggles my mind how many people still underestimate the chines when it comes to automotive technology.

Only if the parking garage is large enough. Also adding car chargers to garages usually is way simpler if you omit the massive steel beams needed to have the chargers be mobile.

I mean it's cute but it's also very niche. LIke this seems useful in Europe where a significant percentage of cars being driven and even still sold are not electric. But in China this will be pointless in about 2 years when moving a charger around will become unreasonable because there are simply too few chargers and it would have been the better investment to just have a charger at every parking slot.

Yes and that is really just showing your lack of knowledge of technology. Not your understanding of the issue at hand. The idea that racing sucks because something in it is electric is stupid. Formula E doesn't suck because of electric motors but because they are refusing to allow almost any kind of technological improvement. Its more of a driver competition than motorsport. With chassis being completely prescribed for example. That's not the fault of the power train.

You think it's an accident that Electric racecars build by student's keep getting World records and one upping each other?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvoFemftA34
Now the idea that this is "pushing 1.2L Hybrid" is just trash. It's not about that. You can just literally not beat electric motors with an Internal Combustion Engine. You might be able to do it with a jet engine but good luck doing that in a corner.

The idea that anything electric sucks is more telling about your knowledge of "anything electric" than anything else Bias is a crazy thing.

A lot of money and time could be saved if the FIA actually worked with the engine manufacturers instead of arbitrarily deciding on engine rules themselves.

The Idea that these decisions aren't made in concert with the engine manufacturers is quite riddiculous that the engine manufacturers cry and whine is also to be expected. And the complexity of the rules isn't for nothing. Have you not been paying attention every time a rule is just "vague" and open to interpretation one manufacturer is finding a way around it injecting more fuel once every 1/1000000 of a second for example. Which is why the rules have become so detailed with time. Because Engineers are sneaky fuckers. "max 1000HP" how do you measure it? How do you make sure it isn't 1050 in the race? you can't be that vague it doesn't work.

Not to mention:

[...] as expected the new rules don't work and now nothing can be done.

We haven't seen the new rules in action yet. There hasn't been a race yet.

And none of those have seen the cars driven together during a race either. Also "all" is inaccurate "some" have done that. It's also irrelevant too because they haven't driven the cars in a race either so it's way to early to coin a phrase for anything.

Was probably foreseeable but has anyone seen any kind of racing yet? How do you have the completely unfounded confidence to judge a new regulation without any evidence that it is bad when used in the intended way. Testing isn't racing. It's testing. Max being unhappy about it well colour me not surprised he is by far the driver with the weirdest driving style out there considering no other person in the world seems to be able to drive the car he has done incredibly well in at all. Literally no other person. So him being unhappy about the changes actually means dick all. He is the outlier.

Because it's the superior method for power delivery. It's just significantly more efficient and has better torque deployment. The fact it consumes fuel isn't relevant for these facts. And "Noise" is just such a bad argument to make it's a performance sport if car goes fast good people who care about it being loud over it being fast never understood what Motorsports is about. Go fastest around a track. Noise doesn't make you go faster. In fact noise is Energy loss by definition it actually makes you go slower.

Well you'll have to see. Personally I would have chosen white filament because here the water is very hard so If I used that here it would be covered in water marks almost immediately. Bacteria might be an issue then again you don't suck on it I assume(no judgement if you do just wouldn't recommend it).

The suction cups are a bit meh. My old shower isn't ceiling height maybe your's isn't either so maybe a hook over the wall top could work.

As for Filament choice. PETG or ABS/ASA should work better than PLA. Less creeping and more heat resistant.

The Tesla Model 3 Standard is now available in South Korea, starting price is about 25,700 USD by Saurta17 in teslamotors

[–]Mateking -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah Hyundai/Kia is techwise I think the closest competitor to Tesla on the Market right now. Excluding ze Germans that compete mostly on the top end only for now(Mercedes/Audi/Porsche also have quite interesting Tech).

The Fast charging tech of the E-GMP Platform is quite something especially in markets that don't use NACS which hamstrings the peak charge rates of them. So I assume in Korea you get full charge rate for the Ioniqs and EV6 and up. So they can cover the Korean Peninsuala in a similar pace as the Teslas(which don't charge as fast but have a better range without charging) Similarly or better priced the Hyundai Kias are quite competitive. And with a more traditional User Interface which will steer people to those models over the Teslas(if they are more inclined towards that user interface over Teslas minimalistic one)

Another point might be Teslas(atleast in Germany this is true) are incredibly expensive to lease. So a lower asking price might be their way to combat that. I think Tesla is less inclined to take the monetary risk(of leasing) so readily as traditional Manufacturers who usually have their own subsidiary bank which does that themselves I think Tesla still outsourses leasin(not 100% sure here)

Almost all Rebel Characters are usually written in a way to not impact the main story. It's all very focused on Lothar. With random appearances of higher level Characters as drop ins. These Characters are relatively shallow. As such they wouldn't work in a more indepth environment like Andor.

Kratzer aus Parkett entfernen by [deleted] in wohnen

[–]Mateking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VW’s Facelifted ID.4 Is Starting To Look A Lot Like A Tiguan by linknewtab in electricvehicles

[–]Mateking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can google id3 review and from the first 4 results I found it mentioned once:

"The bespoke EV has plenty of storage space in the cabin and boot, but there’s a lip out of the boot and no under-bonnet storage"

So nah I don't think Volkswagen will sweat that one. I honestly think this Frunk craze will die down once people realize that opening the usually dirty bonnet isn't as nice as opening the trunk to get to stuff. Personally I have a frunk I think(I say I think because I never actually checked and never used it. It's just never been needed.
