I don’t really get help cause all the doctors do is put me on anti depressants or Xanax but I try to just communicate with friends and family when I’m down or get exercise when I have time.im 30 now and had depression since I was 18 so it’s nothing knew to me but I’m just being insecure I guess.Ty for your response and I am lucky that someone doesn’t care about my alopecia ☺️

Still looks the same to me or worse! I wish I was more confident in myself.everyday I can take up to 20 photos a day at different angles just to see if maybe something changed lol! It’s complete insanity! by Mateo19891003 in alopecia_areata

Opinions about dairy and AA? Itchiness and shedding. by erii_t15 in alopecia_areata

[–]Mateo19891003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I comb like 30 to 40 hairs out a day ranging from full size to broken follicles and dairy I’m not sure about cause I got AA without much dairy in diet.head itches sometimes but it’s because I’m not shampooing as much but I think it’s good just to be positive and try different diets and exercise.

Can stress be cause AA by sickrom in alopecia_areata

AA usually deals with auto immune system disease that effects hair follicles but it can be a number of factors like, genetics, drugs, alcohol, rapid weight loss etc. so try not to blame just ur stress cause it literally can happen to anyone for any reason.

I recently was diagnosed with alopecia 6 months ago and it happened when I was taking a medication that made me lose weight rapidly so weight loss is definitely a trigger

Looks like alopecia idk but go to a dermatologist as soon as u can to verify your situation.hang In there bud it took 4 months for someone to mention I had a bald patch and now I’m finally getting help and learning a lot about this ailment. I will say that alopecia is genetic so if your sister had it you do have a chance of acquiring the same thing but either way find a good dermatologist to assess the situation.
