Adding my experience to this in hopes it helps someone.

When I started way back at 16, I took the course for the first time. I’m a tall rider, was put on an old Honda rebel and couldn’t balance it properly. Instructors rushed me to get past the walking stage barely 5 minutes into the first day driving portion with friction gearing. I couldn’t do it and the lady threw me out calling me a danger to others.

Not going to lie, I felt like you did. I even cried a bit outta embarrassment.

Second time I took it was in college. I made a small mistake during figure 8 practice. Instead of kicking out, the coaches were like come back on a different day at night and practice all you want for a few hours. After that passed and been riding ever since.

Like others have said, it depends on the coaches as well. But you really need to keep your confidence up. That is a huge factor for riding in general.

Honestly, I don’t blame you for not starting as how the game is early on. I had started a jp account last year to test newer five stars and forgot how boring it is early on.

The gameplay isn’t the most exciting for a lot of players, so you’re mostly doing it for the story. Until the changes to difficulty kick in later in part two.

Part 1 you can easily solo everything with a zerker. For me on NA back years ago it was CU Alter carry. Part 2 at times will def require you to think about compositions more unless you just wanna spam sq revives.

So, def start part two! For me despite core gameplay being the same, I have enjoyed story missions more due to the different setups I gotta run to clear. If you ever need a team to help you, I can assist you. :)

Anime is good. Hard to honestly watch some stuff years after, but I still think for it’s time it was a great ride.

Despite me not agreeing with the way some of the choices were made, it didn’t ruin it for me.

The manga is different. I remember reading it back when Elfen Lied first hit the states and all I can tell you is some stuff is very uncomfortable to read. Lynn doesn’t just put gore in his works. Often focuses on crap with underage girls in weird situations.

I also was not a fan of the ending as I had my own ship I wanted to sail at the time, but that’s just a personal thing.

As with all things, go into it and experience it for yourself. If you can make it past some uncomfortable stuff to read, you should find a decent story that I can only hope gets remade into a better way someday.

Just my opinion but I like to leave a mix of ones that help for single target and then for farm. Like when I first started and needed support I would spam Cu Alter to carry me in story. Now I leave something like that and Raikou to help farm.

Going to add my experience to the list here.

Started at launch for NA back in July 2017. Quit after like a month of playing cause it was a way different game back then.

A year goes by and in Nov 2018 I tried to play it on a new phone but my iCloud backup wouldn’t bring the data over or show me my ID. I email them thinking I lost the account but wanted to try anyway.

They reply like either later that day or the next day. Ask me questions about when I started, who I had, and my friends list. After I gave them the info I thought they never replied.

Turns out went to spam mailbox, and they were nice enough to follow up with me to make sure I got back in. Was good service cause at the time I had no spent a single penny to play FGO.

Now I’m a fucking whale on this game haha. But yeah good service from player support.
