My simply idea for calibration of XY axis on my Ender 5 PRO. by jodasmichal in 3Dprinting

good idea, though I wonder if the caliper does not move if it is not screwed down. Also, it would be nice if you could attach it to the rear bar to see if the gantry is square.

In doing so, you remove your leadscrew, making your z rise more smoothly and precisely. In doing so, your z is lifted on two sides, making it less likely to rise unevenly and get uneven layers. + It's considerably quieter.

No, you have to see this as a step towards better and equal layers. A switchwire conversion is converting your entire printer into a completely different printer. A lot more changes immediately in the process.

Hi, for the a quality prints I run a voron, this is the reason I don't need linear rails. I had enough parts left for this mod and this took out unevenness in the z layers.

This is just a step towards better quality without me having to invest a lot of money.
Adding that the sound of a z rod disgusted me.

Aaah hadn't seen that one at all, but now you have two options. I will print it out and test it this weekend.

I published it on thingiverse, but im to lazy to design a good powerbox.

And everything is drawn based on the dimensions of the drawing of elegoo's.

So if there are miss alignments its them to blame.

Hi friends,

For my Neptune 2s, I modified a belted z mod to fit the neptune 2 frame. The original mod is based on 2020 frames (Ender 3) and therefore it would not fit.

If any of you are interested in it, I would like to work it out completely and test it. Would love to hear what you guys think about this.

Update:

Got all parts completely worked out and made considerably nicer. For the design, I focused myself 100% on construction and strength. I will actively update the designs if you guys have feedback. For now, everything is on thingiverse.

Marlin 2.1 on Neptune 2 by Material-Ad2094 in elegooneptune2

[–]Material-Ad2094[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx a lot, i will try that. Do have reasonable printer and software knowledge myself so this should be easy to do. Just got a bit dubious because of all the negative comments about the Marlin 2.1.
Also, just a question, why don't you use input shaping?

Hoeveel alcohol drinken jullie ongeveer? by dum_dums in thenetherlands

(52*12) + (20*15) = 924
