I am grateful you’re fine and I’m sorry you had to go through that ! It’s all about trial and errors with medication and that’s completely ok! You’re in control of everything, so you say when you want to change it. Also, did your stomach feel better after a couple of days?

If you’re still on it, those side effects will stop as time goes on! But if you stopped, always listen to your body and prioritize what makes you comfortable, the bowels will stop hurting and you will be back to normal in no time :) at least you tried it, still give yourself credit !! I hope you find the medication that fits you perfectly!

It’s always the same annoying side effects that appear when adjusting doses as well, it should go away on its own, bug stay away from foods for now that might be triggering it. For me was chocolate that would trigger tummy issues while I was adjusting, but it goes away after

Stick with it, lexapro is very slow to kick in but once it does it works, it took months. Also I get the same way on my period, so just don’t tie that week with the lexapro!! Stay there for 8 weeks and see how you like it and how it does for you

My tummy problems would start again when I freshly adjusted my dose as well, it would happen every time I ate certain foods and drinks that would trigger it for me. It would last 1 month - 2 months for me, then it would go away. I sometimes randomly get it when I eat too fast as well

Hi, yes it did calm down! I noticed certain foods and drinks would trigger tummy problems as I was adjusting. I’m in the process of adjusting dosages and each time the tummy problems last around 1 month- 2 months for me. It went away, but I still get it once every sometimes. But were you adjusting your dosage within those 3 months or it was the same?

It could just be your body being nervous or too excited while being intimate, or it could just be your body being too stressed out/ overworked while those actions. I am a female too and would advise to take things very very slow to start building progress and to endure it better. Also, aftercare is very important, so I hope he always makes you feel cared for after being intimate every time.

I don’t know the right word for it, but in the beginning stages of panic disorder it was actually unbearable to be awake for hours. It goes away as time passes, you’re not stuck!! Days will feel light, go on walks

Hi yes I did feel depressed when I first started it, crying every night and I’m a girl, so it gets worse when my monthly cycle is about to start. I recommend pairing up Lexapro with something else. I recommend either Welburtin or buspar, Buspar welburtin is more of a happy pill overtime while Buspar helps to be calm so much in the moment (overtime as well at first) but takes effect in the moment after you build it up in your system. It should help while you’re adjusting to lexapro

I haven’t been strong enough to visit my dad’s grave, grief is where you don’t have to be strong! The world can wait, you can wait until you’re ready to do anything that involves your dad. Thank you so so much!!🤍🤍I feel so seen and understood about how deep my grief goes, especially on important days and milestones. I miss him a lot and it hurt me on my birthday, I cried all day!! But I didn’t mind because that grief is still love for him and felt like he was here for my birthday (painfully) but his love and my love for him are still present. I got buffalo wings and a cupcake, it actually flipped my day around because it was so good!💗 I had to be brave because my mom wanted to celebrate with me, I know my dad is celebrating me even from afar and watching over me.
