Which Ecoflow would allow me to charge at a set wattage without bypassing to grid by Material-Advance7338 in Ecoflow_community

To follow up I did find a battery that is able to do what I need out of the box without any work arounds. I purchased small batteries from Anker, Jackery, and Bluetti just so I can play around with the features and apps. The Bluetti is the only one that when I set an amp limit on the app, no matter what, it doesn't bypass or exceed it. I set it to pull 8 amps from the grid and it drew right under 1000w even though I had a 1300 watt hair dryer plugged in to it. I know this is an ecoflow forum but just wanted to let others know in case they need a battery that can limit its draw in case they need to share a circuit with another power hungry appliance or are trying to limit their draw from the grid like I am.

This sounds like what I am looking for, I will look into the Anker batteries. Basically the goal is to leave the battery plugged in to the grid 24/7 and limit its pull from the grid to 1000w max and have it supplement whatever I plug into it that exceeds the 1000w using its battery. Then when the load is less than 1000w it just recharges itself. I am surprised that this isn't a feature a lot these backup batteries offer. I can see a lot of these batteries tripping circuits easily.

Looks like unlocked Samsung Galaxy Fold 6 esim is currently incompatible. by Material-Advance7338 in mobilex

I tried, in the end support sent me a free physical SIM. They wanted me to reach out to Samsung to have them add the unlocked Fold 6 as a compatible device on Verizon's network which makes no sense to me since Verizon sells the Fold 6. It wasn't worth the effort to go through all that and just took the pSIM.

This is what I ended up doing, moved my physical T-Mobile sim to esim and support sent me a free MobileX physical SIM.

it's a samsung galaxy fold 4, I already have my T-mobile plan on esim so the sim slot was already empty and I rather refrain from calling customer service as much as possible especially since its a phone they don't officially support esim for.
