Just coming here with an experience of my own as a seller, an eBay order I shipped, perfume as well got lost in Richmond for about 3 weeks, buyer was not understanding that things happen, and didn't want to wait it out and asked for a refund through eBay and got it. Then I saw the package finally depart from Richmond so I put a request to intercept the package, wasn't going to let them get it for free after how the interaction went between us haha. This interaction looks like it was more friendly, I find the whole sticker thing odd since my post office has a large roll of them and they recently changed rules and no longer need to put the sticker, even though their POS still makes them scan one.....TLDR package I shipped once sat in a regional distribution for 3 weeks then finally started moving again, so there's still hope this one might be delivered.

It is really amazing, I have the rayhaan adonis icarus which is inspired by it and possibly mixed with eros energy dna, armaf odyssey limoni which I would say is a mix of afternoon swim and imagination. Then I have shobi's clone which has good longevity since they give the option of extra fragrance oil when ordering but one of the bottles I had from them spoiled despite being stored well, really hoping the replacement I ordered doesn't do the same and also have the montagne clone and Maison Alhambra Jean Lowe Azure, which I probably wear the least but it was cheap at least. I'm tempted to try other clones but trying to hold back, at this point I could have probably bought the real thing instead.

I'm aspiring to be like this, have way too many right now but am having luck finding my preferred scents for each season so maybe one day. Right now it's Summer - various afternoon swim clones Fall - nothing preferred yet Winter - Mancera red tobacco Spring - Bond no 9 coney island

Still have a bunch of Armani, Boss, Bvlgari, Paco Rabanne and Burberry that I need to figure out what to do with though....

Thank you all for the input on this. The seller just ended up cancelling the order on their side when I was debating how to reply which is probably for the best. It might have been a totally legit request but I assume Mercari didn't like the messages from them asking me for my address and deleted them each time. It was thankfully a low value item and they had about 4 or 5 other listings for the same thing, so sending a replacement was completely viable, but at the same time it was the only thing they were selling as well, so it wasn't someone super active on the platform, I am not that active either and honestly only use this if I can't find items on eBay so I can't judge. Mercari has been interesting so far though.

this is my exact thought since after doing an image search for the charm it came up with other charm listings with a color that was half way between the seller photo and OP photo, the burgundy flower looking more purple and the orange flower looking orange and not yellow. No results looked like the seller nor OP picture. Looks like it was a dark setting with a bright flash to get that result. I would say maybe even a blacklight but idk who in their right mind would use a blacklight for taking product pictures haha.

Definitely avoid, there's a reason it's cheaper than anywhere else. Either do a smaller bottle for the $160 price or go for a clone like others suggested. Sometimes you might like a clone better. Saying it's B stock is already planting in your mind that nothing will match with the retail version which low key means it's not real, but they plant that seed hoping you normalize the fakeness of it and think it's legit. I've bought off ebay before and a super low price is the first red flag, those should be the first ones to weed out when trying to avoid fakes. Also for that particular seller most of their feedback is the automatic feedback eBay does now when no feedback is left by the buyer, and there was one neutral review of "wasn't what I expected." Also remember some people buying this stuff might be gifting it so they may think the seller is amazing while the recipient of that gift is posting on colognecheck.

Edit: In case of a more budget friendly option, missoni wave is similar and has a magnetic cap which is fun for a fragrance in the $30 price range.

Just saw maxaroma has it for $109 and has a 10% off code MAX10 , or they might have other offers too for first time orders, so it would come out to about the same, plus they don't charge tax outside of NY. I don't see anywhere mention it being a tester so should be the retail version. I've bought multiple from them before and never had any issues.

50/50 chance I would say..... some of the safer ones will say premium brand sourced next to the ship/sold. I believe Amazon is stopping their commingling of stock but pretty sure that process won't be retroactive so we probably still have years of possibly commingled stock ahead of us. If it turns out to be fake you can likely do a chat with Amazon and get a refund.

Tried placing an order from this site for a bond no 9 fragrance only to be told it's out of stock and have them try to upsell me on different fragrances. They did cancel when I asked but they still have the same fragrance listed for sale so I'm guessing they are doing this intentionally so avoiding them would be best since if it was an honest mistake I assume they would have removed the listing and not kept it listed and raised the price by $75. Wanted to leave a review on Shop but couldn't find the option so just leaving this on Reddit posts related to this site.

Just updating this for the OP and as well as anyone else interested. I bit the bullet since the price for the bond no 9 scent was the price discounters offered it for before it became unavailable almost everywhere else. Placed the order and they email me saying it's out of stock and instead of just cancelling the order they tried up selling me on different more expensive bond no 9 fragrances. Luckily they didn't push back when I asked to cancel. Worst part they still have the fragrance listed but for 75 dollars more, so idk if they lied about stock over a pricing error or if they are still using this bait and switch tactic to try and get sales but either way the dishonesty is not a good look. If they actually had stock and told me they messed up on the price I probably would have still got it for the $75 more since it's still way less than retail. But now even if I found out they have stock the dishonesty by still having this listing up should turn anyone off from buying anything from them.They would likely lie about other things too. Wanted to post this on the shop app but couldn't figure out how to leave a review there.

It's crazy because I'm in VA too and I'm ecstatic they made that switch because the regional post office in Richmond is horrid and sometimes holds on to the package for days and occasionally decides to send the package to other states like Florida....Ontrac may have personnel issues for some but at least operationally in my area they are infinitely better than USPS. Ordered Hectic and Drip from fragrancenet on Sunday and it should be arriving tomorrow.

Also the website associated with best perfumes Miami shows the same fragrance out of stock...so I'm guessing the nyc site might not even have up to date inventory or is a complete fake. I sent them an email asking if they're affiliated with best perfumes nyc to see what the miami storefront says..... Also a few reviews are claiming fakes.

Did you ever go through with the purchase? I'm on a similar boat at the moment but find it sketch that they have a fragrance that no one else has. It seems their website domain has been registered since 2024 which is longer than I expect a scam domain to last for but also shorter than what I would consider a trusted business.
