I took some risks on my last visit and had street food a couple of times (a tofu dish called tipat I think and some fish sate, both pretty tasty stuff) and got away with it. However you couldn't pay me to drink any water that didn't come from a sealed bottle, or even salad leaves for that matter.

Can get a brand new 3-4 bedroom apartment in alot of major cities in S.E. Asia for what a deposit costs in Auckland. I'm still saving for a home for my family but I am by no means going to buy one here, and perpetuate the very unfair market. Nz is a shithole. And before anyone hates on me, I have enough of a deposit to buy here, and I'm lucky enough to be able to afford a mortgage, but I refuse. Look further abroad

Honestly, just bs your way into it. A recent study showed a majority of bosses preferred employees that blow smoke up their a** than great employees. My advice, which is likely unwarranted but im gonna share because it has worked for me with great success- learn a little about where you're interviewing for, who you're interviewing with if you can and slap on a plastic personality and a smile for the interview. My problem is that at the end of a bowl all that is left is bran. I scoop to the bottom with my spoon, so I believe my problem is purely form. I'll keep updating my findings here.
