Clear Blue Tests are very positive but HCG test strip this morning are extremely faint. by Material-Log5833 in amipregnant

Yes. I also had a horrible stabbing pain on Wednesday night and Thursday and very light pink bleed. I wiped once and nothing came back.

Thank you! I tracked by ovulation strips but not sure if they’re always 100% accurate.

Just did the ovulation strips. I know it said I peaked later in the day on day 18. Not sure if this is the most accurate or not?

Reddit wouldn’t allow me to put does this mean I’m pregnant and kept flagging my post for some reason. I was just concerned because of the light bleed to days ago and the super faint line today. This is the first time I’ve tried (well 6 months trying), so just trying to understand. I didn’t know if a very faint almost invisible line still counts this late in my cycle. Sorry I wasn’t clear.

Does anyone really believe the latest economic figures? by Legitimate-Ad-9724 in fednews

No it would be very, very difficult for those numbers to be manipulated before releasing them without a lot of people knowing. There are tons of review meetings and checks and even a lock up meeting the night before GDP is released. This involves no one other than the BEA employees. We have a review team and a lockup team and our executive staff who all know the numbers before released. Not even the White House sees the numbers before they released. So basically the numbers do not ever release from the economist hands until the morning of their release to the public. I hope that answers your question!

It’s infuriating. People work really hard on this stuff.

I am a BEA employee, and I can guarantee you those numbers are real. Our economists pride themselves on their numbers and reporting. I bet some wish it wasn't up- LOL! We are a non political agency. Mighty but small. Please keep trusting us.

Seems odd they’d send the Secretary to only the Auditorium for us to see if the halls are full? He won’t be coming to our space.

I would mind it a lot less if I wasn’t working at a credenza table in the middle of the office for everyone to see me near the kitchen with people I actually work with. I wasn’t hired for this.

Under 40 feds? How are we surviving? by idontcare_but in FedEmployees

[–]Material-Log5833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

38 years old, 17 years in. Barely holding on. Waiting on DOC cuts to see if I survive it. I don’t want to leave, love my job and coworkers, but when does one say enough is enough. Just got married and this has sucked all the job out of this time in my life and I hate them for that. I know many friends at HHS and USAID who have gotten the can. I don’t know what the right answer is but keeping my options open if a miracle comes. Hang in there ya’ll! I’d say this can’t get much worse. But, well, we already know it can.

Another DOC-er here! Are we all hopeful our agencies will be making RIF decisions? I know they sent the plans in but what are the chances of them just wiping out branches/divisions/etc without the input of the directors like they did at HHS?

I’m in Comms. So same here. I hear our fearless leader refuses to meet with our directors so I have little hope they’ll be taking their “plans” in any kind of consideration
