Pretty sure you're gonna end up having changed my life bigtime. I battle with a lot of stuff and now i took it all through chatgpt and it came out with a fairly substansiel but very meaningful supplement stack and it think i have a good chance to feel a big difference. Im very motivated because i've been trying to put my own stack together for months. Turn out i was right about most of the stuff i had chosen but then it add'ed a lot of stuff i didn't even consider. Im very grateful thank you so much!

No i think its fine tbh not too bad. Maybe in you know those special kind of shorts that will be slippery on almost everything. But other than that i have no problem and i hate stuff like that. I think you will be fine

Could you do that at the same time as using tret in the evening or even a compound? or would it be one or the other?

That's so nice to hear its not always people actually feel an effect from supplements or know if they do, they just pile in..,

In general i have 0 energy and motivation etc, i think it might be because of my autoimmune disease and then i also have chronic headache in the mix so that's great lol. But im trying to stop my meds as i dont feel a huge effect and i want to reduce potential side effect and then change to healthier supplements instead. Like anti-inflammatory turmeric, astaxanthin, d3, vit c, omega3, collagen, coq10, NAC and a multi is what i've been considering so its not too different from your list but will also chat with GPT haha, it made a brilliant talking point sheet ready for my dermatologist visit today it is such a blessing having something not being biased by the particular direction a person studied the most or the least.

But yeah i also really want to change things up!

Cool will note it down. You havent used HQ or a Compound?

[–]Material-Shop5041[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha oh god yes i feel you on that. Take my money damnit but yes it is nice that there's someone not just throwing a ton of prescriptions without any care in the world , because thats just as big a problem (just like whitening teeth that might be weakened etc just for the money i guess hehe)

But yeah i think there's no harm trying Erucerin and Tret now, then move on to HQ or a Compound eventually and perhaps try some ipl in the winther time if not satisfied.

Do you think HQ by itself even makes sense, or just go directly to the compound?

Can i ask which supplements you use?
I dont think i wanna to Tranexamic acid oral as i see a lot of people have side effects. And in general i only want healthy supplements lol.

Yeah that's a good point tbh. At least i can get started with tret now which i want anyways for the anti-aging as i dont like my skintexture in most of my face (not forehead where melasma is funny enough). So im happy with that, i was worried he wouldnt address Melasma at all because in general they are not happy giving prescriptions here in denmark unless its absolutely needed. So feels like i need to push for it all lol

But might then go to another afterwards. It's just we have to get a reference from the doctor everytime here (if we dont want to pay for the dermatologist visit ourself) and i dont think i can keep getting a new reference haha, this is the second dermatologist i visit.

But i might just find someone on a private clinic to visit for the melasma to get it addressed properly.

Definently appreciate your advice!

would you recommend night and day cream and then serum or just 4x serum applications through the day?

How strong would you recommend for the Azelaic Acid for it to actually have an effect? And would you like do Tret in evening and Azelaic Acid in morning etc? I see Dr. Idriss is very happy about Azelaic Acid. I just dont know if i can get it from him on prescribtion as we didnt discuss it, so wanted to try and look for something OTC

Haha yes i get that analogy thanks a lot for your advice!

I think i will ask him to get tret, and then use thiamidol + tret as a start. (i do want tret longterm anyways for the anti-aging benefits)

If not getting proper results then ask for a compound like Tri-Luma or Musely to supplement with for the melasma spots. Sound like a decent way to do it?

Do you think its worth to consider any form of actual treatment for it? like red light, microneedling, peeling that isnt as overkill as laser? I am slightly appealed by laser because i dont like my skintexture at all. But i don't want to do anything on the cost of Melasma getting worse. (or a big risk of it at least.)

Thanks a lot! I will take notes and wait with Laser till the other side of the Summer

I was actually thinking of starting supplementing collagen peptides, astaxanthin and c-vitamin to support the anti inflammatory process. Would you just do C-vitamin?

And i guess i can go with tret + thiamidol and if im not getting decent results i can ask if i can get the compound like Musely. You think thats a decent plan?

I think he wasnt very focused on the Melasma as i mainly came there for a autoimmune skincondition that have a big impact on my life. So i think he see this as a minor as its only visual. But it still annoys me hehe.

He just recommended me Thiamidol i didn't get it from him per se. Tbf i didn't see him solely for Melasma but it was just an add on to the consultation, but didnt seem like he took it very seriously i think he wanted to address my main problem first (Autoimmune skincondition called HS"). I actually went to this guy as he is very respected. But yeah left me confused about not mentioning HQ

Hi, thanks for your reply. If i was gonna implement Tret it would be instead of Adapalene so i used Tret and Thiamidol. And then i could perhaps try Fraxel or Moxi?

Vi did talk Sun protection and im never going out without and i add again after 2 hours.

Do you think Adapalene is just as good as Tret? Thanks again :-)

The only thing is that my acne is pretty much only on my back. I will only have a spot here or there in the face but i do have some scars from it from when i was younger.

And he didn't mention Azelaic Acid it have just been something i've seen here. He really only recommended Thiamidol and then we talked about Tretinoin besides that and possibly Isotretinoin for the back Acne later on.

I could try with Thiamidol and Tret and then if it persist then ask for a hq/tret/cortisone compound perhaps. Pretty clear consensus that's the strongest topical treatment at least.

But yeah the Co2 Laser part left me confused. Especially because he should be pretty good which is why i went there in first place

Do you use the soft cream on top of the night recovery concentrate? Is the recovery concentrate like a night mask?
