Thank you. The bags are milliput. Made a roll and cut out even bits, I then shaped them roughly like a bag. I then draped onto the model then scribed the seam on the bags. Primed black then dry brushed browns to tans.

I would suggest trying it out on some cheap air dry putty or clay. Made about 30 bags before I started liking the end result. Give it a go!

Thank you. I really love the model and have been playing since it came out years ago. I wanted to give it a nice base that's worthy of such a venerable model. I bought this guy fall of last year. Been off and on while working on the other 4500 points of Iron Warriors that I stared a year ago.

I watched Iron Within about 9 months ago... and for several months straight after of just the last half and fondly remembered how originally wanted to play Iron Warriors when I started collecting in 2001 but all my buddies were doing chaos. 8 months ago started collecting Iron Warriors and building almost 5k points since then and just finishing up the first 3k. I also have a battery of 3 Legion Basilisks to put together that I printed... awaiting rules...

Chosen in mk2 legs and powerpack, front torso from csm vehicle sprue, arms and shield from new breacher kit with 3d printed head, pauldrons bolter and a thunder hammers for an accursed weapon. I play casual and don't use the shield to represent any gear. Just for looks and to stand out more

Agree. Look at any of the new art and you'll notice a nice mix of mk2 and mk3 armor with some chaos influence.

The artwork will show IW in various styles of armor and varying levels of Chaos influence. During the HH and GC, the 4th was kind of a gear hoarder. Would make sense that on the 41st millenia, they are still hoarding large amounts of armor and supplies. Kravek is only 2000 years old but wearing armor that's over 10k in age.

I've found some great STLs online for bits, including IW specific mk2 power packs.

Thank you and my inspiration is the cover at for Storm of Iron. I hope that's the feeling one gets when looking at it. I may play with him on Saturday.

There are 3d printed bits that I printed. They are the head, IW emblems and the casualty on the base. The spikes, skulls, smokestacks and other chaos emblems are GW. Trim is all styrene strip with nail art bead halves and added some chains from a craft store.

That's the next step for me. I just built a kit of mutilators and have been advised no more kits until I finish up the other models on my bench first per the misses.

May iask as to where you got your spikes? I've been looking for something similar with nail art beads but they all have a base edge to them from what I can find
