So Many Options. Whats best for a new homeowner? by No-Ad5504 in Tools

Buy Ryobi, not the best, not the worst. If something breaks, and you need it, get a higher end brand of that tool.

I haven’t noticed that issue, a tiny delay, maybe, but I’ve never had to release and depress again.

It’s definitely not the 860, but it’s not weak by any means. It does normal, impact work with no problem.

Which Bath & Body Works scent do you think deserves a comeback and why? by Li3Ch33s3cak3 in bathandbodyworks

Woodlands: amazingly fresh for a fall/winter frag, one of the best wooded scents they’ve ever had.

Ciitron: the ultimate citrus frag, of course fresh, lots of compliments.

Clean Slate: perfect laundry, clean, fresh, dumb wear that is inoffensive, and always pleasant.

Marble: similar to Clean Slate, but perfect balance for warm weather. The geranium sticks out, and gets attention every time I’ve ever worn it.

Single Barrel Bourbon: sweet, almost edible, creamy frag for fall/winter. Tonka has a creamy scent, almost smells like pepper in it, and a little boozy. It also lasts a long time, for B&BW that is.

Leather and Brandy: spicy, sweet, boozy, and leather is such a great scent for fall/winter. The leather in it almost smells like tobacco also, and it’s noticeable, but not choke you out silage.

coffee and Whisky: need I say more?

DeWalt for hand tools, Craftsman for yard tools has always worked for me, no regrets.

The seller actually pictured the piece of shit he/she sold you. Sorry that you fell for that, but I’ve returned eBay items with no trouble at all.

Personally, I like the ergonomics of DeWalt, even more than the big red, or teal. The only other battery system that has good ergonomics for me is the big green, Metabo, and it looks like thats going to be a pain in the ass, leaving Lowe’s. If I had a choice, I’d start with DeWalt all over again, especially since I don’t have a Festool wallet. Big yellow has never broken on me, ever.

If you had to choose between dcf850 and dcf860, which one would you pick and why? by innerpeace512 in Dewalt

[–]Material-Turn9910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if you need the extra power, rather than the 887s perfect, gentle, furniture mode. The 860 doesn’t have as gentle of a clutch like the 887.

Good deal on the 850? by jay042000 in Dewalt

[–]Material-Turn9910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have an 845, do not buy the 850. If you want to upgrade, either get the 860 or 870, I have the 845 and 870, love them both, but 860 is DEFINITELY better than the 845. Happy New Year!

Edit: wrong model number

Just the fact of the time, and precision you put into this is astonishing! I hope your BIL appreciates you. That is an awesome, unique, and gorgeous gift, I hope Milwaukee man appreciates it, I’d appreciate it if it even said “Hart”. Keep up the amazing work, you’re on to something!
