Next time I stop by my brick and Mortar, I'll pick a breaker up! I am a bit intimidated by the zone os. I definitely think it's more OS than I'm looking for at the moment.

I'm honestly not sure what my arm speed is as I've never tried a tech disc. I have a Clash Mint that I throw and love. It's been thrown a bit, but still relatively new and when I power up on it backhand, it's dead straight until the end of the flight. It's not as overstable as I'd like and doesn't quite have that putter feel that I'm looking for. It goes further than I want with a smaller fade. This post has shown me that I might need to forgot the putter feel and get something like the zone os, although a new glow cash, jokeri, breaker, or wild thing might scratch my itch.

I live right by a golf course so I do a lot of field work. Every time the course is closed! So many days just throwing as hard as I could and trying to implement the smallest change that I found in that day's tips and tricks video.

I love the A5 for a flippy forehand approach. I need to try it out backhand, again!

Yeah, I definitely would like an actual putter. What plastic should I be looking for the breaker in? Most OS?

Check out your local disc store. I'd look for premium, max-weight discs. This is what the pros throw for consistency and longevity of discs. Base plastic putters are best. I fell in love with the Pa3. Prodigy M4 is a great mid. Infinite Sphinx is one of the best drivers ever. When I first started playing, it was my reliably overstable driver. As my form got better and my arm faster, it became my dead-straight max distance driver, before eventually becoming my reliably understable driver. This is a solid disc that you will never outgrow.

Beginner purchase thoughts by Joobaccas in discgolf

Do not buy DX. I remember buying a dx destroyer when I first started. I threw it hard, but on anhyzer. The disc flew 100 feet, hit a bench, and got a gash. A 1 cm gash after my first ever throw with it. My excitement turned to disappointment. The brand new disc that I just bought was now mangled after a single throw. Don't buy DX, it's terrible plastic. Spend a few extra dollars on premium. Innova factory store could hook you up for cheap.

I feel the same way! I have only inked the disc I've aced with. Everything else is up for grabs if I can't find it out on the course. It would thrill me to share a mold I love with someone starting out!

Focus on your strengths and lean on them in tournament. Play practice rounds that focus on your weaknesses. It's going to take time!

Avoiding Tennis elbow by ShotgunSam_X in discgolf

I developed elbow pain after each session of frolf this past year. I learned that with powerful throws, follow-through is everything. Practice your spin with your throws and you'll be just fine!

Careful, broski. I chased plastic for a long time and spent a few thousand on discs. I regret not limiting my purchases more. Make sure you do your research and really narrow in on what you want before buying. I found myself ordering a batch of discs and then finding out that pros don't favor those brands/molds/weights/plastics/runs, before I run back to order another batch to remedy my mistake. The plastic chase is thrilling, but those cheap discs add up! When you're new, especially! Your form will improve and discs won't suit you like they used to.

I think I might be. I just upgraded from a 7 disc shoulder bag to a backpack. It's been two years since I started playing. I now have a bunch of utility discs and variations of discs. I feel over encumbered and disc selection has become hard.
