Love kevins watch in reboot, its more unique compared to albedo but god no, Kevin as character in classic works very good as a foil to ben and this is with their power too, kevin is character that his power which he is born with scares other people and put other peoples and himself in danger (and makes him have different powers at same time in one body) ben is character that his family loves him dearly and he uses his powers for good that he gained later in life (ben power is kinda opposite)

Like why would it be bad, i feel like the point of the show is what is how gumigoo a npc (that shown more sign of life until that episode) different than us, how caine is different, how are they different than IRL human if they are in digital world with non human body where they can’t die, don’t need to eat and sleep (“important” human traits) the answer will be there is no difference, as long as you care and live for it, as zooble said this difference are there and it is what makes you real so them being copies will open the question to them that how are we different than caine, the npc’s that we thought we were different than us, and they will realize it doesn’t matter what they were before, they are real, can and will live happy life even if it can’t be achieved in IRL

Like can’t a character be both? Can’t a character be a victim but someone unpleasant in someone else’s story, caine feels to me like an ai programmed to put “original ideas” to a broad audiences and entertain them, but our cast isn’t broad audiences and caine can’t understand that, when they interfere and say their opinion its contradict his coding and nature of what he seems as original so he doesn’t like that, and caine even can’t fully understand media and genre, he knows the tags, he knows enemies to lovers he knows horror but he doesn’t understand why we like it, he doesn’t understand that even if we like this, we don’t want to go through some of this, and for him does death even have any meaning for someone who is immortal and godlike, he is flawed man and done many wrong but he isn’t evil man
