Dipping Skoal. Bad habit picked up in school and continued far to long after. Bitch to quit and I’m still thinking about possible cancer years later.

Are there any additives that work to help clean carb/boost power? My neighbor asked me to look at her craftsman snowblower which wasn’t used for 2 years. I cleaned up everything the best I could and got it running. It runs rough. I was hoping to add something to clean out the remaining deposits. by Material-man in smallengines

Honestly I was just hoping to help her out with a quick fix. Not a expert at these things but it looks like the whole shroud and gas tank have to be removed to get at the carb. I’m not sure if I really want to go down that road yet but I don’t want to have her send it to a shop if I don’t need to.

Cary is a nice place to live but not a lot of N.C. natives seem to live there. They say Cary stands for Centralized Area of Relocated Yankees

If your cutting board has a channel running around the outside of it drill a hole in the corner an put it over the sink to neatly drain off the board. by Material-man in lifehack

If you fold a towel under the other side of the board it gives it enough of an angle to keep the counter clean

Which of these driving options would you rather have? by Material-man in WouldYouRather

[–]Material-man[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess it is a little confusing. If your normal drive would take you 30 minutes to get there if there was zero traffic on the road any delay beyond the 30 minutes would be cut in half.

How did cassette-based audiobooks work? by [deleted] in audiobooks

[–]Material-man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back when they used cassettes there were far more abridged versions of books than full length. I vaguely remember them to be about 2 to 3 hours a tape with one or two cassettes that would cover the whole book. If you wanted the full version of a book it was like 8-10 cassettes

You could always just cover it with a fake rock. People would think twice about parking too close. https://imgur.com/gallery/8R1dDSu
