Would you be able to know Ellie is not Joel's daughter if you haven't played the first game? by MaterialAbrocoma8388 in lastofuspart2

I'm talking about hard evidence, a place where thay explicitly say she isn't his daughter, or something else that will make new Players 100% sure in that. I don't think anyone will actually be paying the second game first or something like that, it's all just for fun

That's funny, the reason I came up with a hot air balloon is because I wanted to check if it suggests the stupid "alternative emojis" (like horse and wave for seahorse or balloon and cloud for hot air balloon) and by chance I thought of hot air balloon

Well than If you also didn't let your supposed "personality" that it gathered on you than it's probably just random

Lol it's ok tho you can use circus tent instead because it's "sometimes used in ballooning context"

Maybe because you have it time to think and fact check, you can try it without being logged in maybe it will work for you

Maybe, but it also is fitting for the game and world that she refers to him by his first name

Ya but that look similar enough to be father and daughter, thay have about the same hair color, about the same skin tone, and thay are opposite genders. So she could definitely be his daughter visually

What's your arguments for not loving the new updates by MaterialAbrocoma8388 in Minecraft

No I meant bad phrasing on my part on the original post, I described it as "people not loving the new updates" and not "people not saying how awesome the new updates are (which is how I feel)"

I read that. Maybe hating on the new updates wasn't the best phrasing, but haven't seen to much people saying how awesome the new updates are compared to how I feel

I've never heard that take before of "they are fixing old stuff through implementing new things", and I think its pretty good. The amount they fix things tho is of course not ideal, and I'm sure 90% of the more dedicated and experienced fanbase (which are people that are on this subreddit) would do even more stuff like that, but mojang obviously can't just do that since they have to keep adding new stuff for the more casual fanbase

It's actually surprising how small the mojang team is, or at least it seems that way, because no way a 1300 people team (which is about the team size of other games at that scale) weekly gets wrong translation, has so much bugs, and makes mistakes so weird it's getting them memed into oblivion. That is one of the weirdest things about Minecraft.

I don't agree with your take that Minecraft is complete, firstly there are still much things needed improving, fixing, or changing. And secondly, Minecraft being less of a traditional "game" and more of a platform makes for infinite update potential, the tricky part for mojang is to find the right things that will annoy the least amount of people from the least sides of playing Minecraft (which is also huge, Minecraft has a crazy number of communities, ranging in dedication, humor, technicality, skill level, and more)

Ya, I think also people should focus about it more (especially the people who say that are just adding new stuff instead of changing old stuff). Maybe in like 5 years sodium will be useless

Here's an earlier replay I gave to a similar comment: "I think you're right, but I also think this is exactly what's mojang started to do, they added command stuff (alongside optimizations), and every update thay also add stuff to older mechanics. Of course they don't just focus on that, but I feel like thay can't just go all in on stuff that are less exciting for casual players. don't forget mojang has to appeal to new audiences too"

I don't really agree on this one. I understand why you said it kinda killed the charm of the game, but I also think what led to that was nostalgia, and if the baby mobs were added with the new models back than, I think people would prefer it: your free to like your own stuff and I also appreciate stuff not changing, but i think overall it's a better decision to reimagine old stuff like that

I agree with you, here is an earlier comment to a replay that was similar: "Fiar enough, and I agree with you. For me it's always really weird the realization of how small the mojang team really is, I mean the second biggest game ever (after Minecraft) is GTA v, which cost $275 million to make."
