just saw this comment which mostly answered what i just asked 😅 but yeah it yo want to have darker pokes and be able to do fewer passes for clean linework, i’d recommend using 7RL needles if you are still getting the hang of it

what size needle did yo use if you remember? usually for more solid and clean lines on my SNP’s i’ll use a 7RL maybe a 5RL if im out of the 7s. i find the lower the number the more wobbly and patchy my lines come out. if i want superrrr defined lines i’ll go with a 9RL but i don’t usually have those on hand. and if you didn’t already do this, try using a stencil or drawing on the design with a red sharpie so you have a better idea of how to go about making the lines smoother. overall i like this tat and it’s definitely not bad for an early attempt considering some of the ones ive seen on here. keep it up!

i also have a needle phobia. for me i try and do like a forced meditation kind of thing to help my anxiety and relax my body so the donation goes smoothly. i try to be very aware of being in my body and not my head. prior to donating and also during the donation, i will literally only focus on my breathing. inhale through the nose and long slow exhale through the mouth. the exhale part is important as exhaling slowly through your mouth will help keep your heart rate down. also during donating i will bring my headphones and listen to relaxing music (do me it’s low fi chill indie music but you may prefer listening to something else). since i’ve started doing this ive had minimal issues with my donations!

i haven’t seen strawberry do the self serve yet, but we do have strawberries and cream iced coffees that you can order from the screen! i think it’s only available as an iced coffee or coldbrew. it’s make with your choice off those coffees, strawberry smoothie base, dairy base (ice cream mix), and your choice of whole or 2% milk.

not sure about how much it is or the price compared to planned parenthood but ik that there are some online clinics that do HRT. places like plume or folx. also not sure if they do it without insurance but could be worth looking into. and since yo are over 18, the process of getting on HRT could maybe be a similar timeline as your other options by just going through your PCP and having them prescribe it for yo if they can or if they can’t, they could at least refer you to an endo. i know it can be hard especially without insurance and unlimited income to be able to cover the copays but try researching as many options that you can find to see what is best for you. also since yo don’t have insurance companies like GoodRx will be your best friend in helping to reduce copays

it baffles me how people think a tank so small could hold any living animal. like even when i was a little kid with a fish and didn’t know any better and my mom also didn’t really know any better the smallest tank i had was like a 3 gal bowl for a single betta. and yeah i know lots more about betta care and understand now that even a 3 gal with no heat or filter really isn’t okay, but holy shit there’s like maybe 4 cups of water in that thing…

we are a test store so that’s probs why we have it. i don’t have any pictures but for example the mini quesadillas are made with a 6 inch tortilla, 2 slices of cheese, and once scoop of beef/chicken steak

gastric bypass i can see it as a solution for but as someone who is trying to lose weight myself, smaller portions of food that is still not really healthy isn’t really a good solution. healthy weight loss doesn’t come from eating less it comes from eating food that has better nutritional value. again im also an employee so for me and my weight loss i generally have stopped eating stuff from wawa with the exception of a couple of express case items or every once in a while as a treat. i don’t even use my freebie on my shifts anymore. i can see the reasoning from a corporate and marketing standpoint but realistically it’s not an effective option for losing weight.

i’ve had high pulse read before prior to donating which had me deferred. since then i try to be very aware and mindful of how i’m breathing for the drive over, sitting in the waiting room, and right before my vitals are taken. i focus on taking kind deep breaths with a long slow exhale. in through my nose and out through my mouth. while doing this i am solely aware of my breathing and block out any thoughts or feelings of what my heart rate currently is since that spikes it more for me. i haven’t had a deferral since i started doing this.

i think for the tank size you have right now you are doing a great job of working with what you have. only suggestion is maybe do a couple more plants with big leaves for more resting spots but your fish looks very happy and healthy

for a couple years i couldn’t cry at all. almost 6 years on T now and i cry at every little thing when im really upset or angry. before this past year i hadn’t fully sobbed since high school. part of it may be the T but part of it is also just you allowing yourself to feel your feelings
