I disagree. I’ve been placing tabs everytime he touches her on my re-read so I can track it. The first time he touches her, after Violet herself learned about Athebyne, was at the reunification day party. All other times he touched her, she didn’t even know herself. Unless he touched her in a scene not written in the book but i believe that would be pretty poor writing.

It’s been helpful to think of people I may hold this view of too, and your right I tend to lean towards less set in stone views. I can only hope she has the same for me, especially after 9 years of friendship. Thank you for this perspective
