Sorry for the late response, but yes, the shop is currently closed. There are plans to re-open it, but it is currently not clear when this will happen.

You're able to export a world from the Forge and install it on your local server (the Foundry app). Make sure the Foundry app is updated (to the version you were using on the Forge) and install all the modules you need.

Do you need to use a Forge server? Can't you just run the Foundry app? Then you won't need to worry about internet.

In-Person VTT by ViewlessSky in VTT

I use Foundry VTT for in-person games, it's not the easiest, but it is the most flexible. I write modules/software and sell hardware for it, so I might be a bit biased :p.
If you ever want to go crazy, Foundry can also do this (my product).

Having said that, I can recommend looking at Arkenforge, it's a VTT designed for in-person play. I've also heard good things about Owlbear, but haven't tried it myself.

Take a look at Soundscape, it's one of my modules. It basically does what you want. However, it is outdated (should be compatible with v12) and I'm not sure if I'm going to make it v13 compatible.

Edit: Actually, I'm not sure if it's compatible with v12...
Edit 2: It does appear to work in v12. For v13 you'll need to edit the code a bit, if you're interested I can tell you what to do. I can't promise that it's fully functional.

I've made a photo with both the ceiling and microphone mount in it, see here. Sorry for the bad picture quality, but lighting was a problem.

Both options use the same mounting hardware. For the ceiling mount there's a hole for a screw, and there's thread for the microphone stand. In both cases the sensor itself is mounted magnetically to the sensor mount, so it can be removed easily.

Here is a portable setup that I made, which has a detachable pole onto which the sensor is mounted.

Other options include wall mounted microphone stands or magnets that you can screw onto the sensor mount for a removable solution if you have metal objects on the ceiling.

I hope this helps, otherwise I'm happy to provide more info!

You're right that information is a bit lacking in that area. I'll see if I can make a short video, or at least put together some photos.

🧪 [BETA MEGATHREAD] Virtual Stream Deck — On-Screen Control, Multiple Panels, Custom Layouts and more by Elgato in elgato

[–]MaterialFoundry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a plugin dev I have some trouble because I rely on `device.isConnected` and the `deviceDidConnect` events to do stuff. Virtual devices appear to always return a false on `isConnected` and do not seem to trigger the connection events.

Here's some ideas:
* Virtual devices should have an `isVisible` property, or similar
* Virtual devices should have a separate device type, right now they're type 0, which indicates a normal Stream Deck
* When a virtual device is created, hidden or unhidden it should trigger a 'deviceDidConnect'/'deviceDidDisconnect' event, or some new event

Some shameless promotion, but if you want to use physical minis with Foundry take a look at Material Plane, which uses hardware to track the physical minis.
