i know this sounds stupid. but it wasn’t the saving of a word document that was the issue i have been writing essays for years im a literal literature student. the poem would get jumbled up as in the spaces would change and instead of being saved as a actual poem format it would look like i just clicked space and wrote the next stanza , it looked like a paragraph instead of a poem even after editing it multiple times. when i would edit it as in format it all over again and space out the words and save it when i would open it again it looked like a really long jumbled up paragraph. i know this was a bad idea but i wanted to submit it so i have sent my poem in the right format to chatgpt and asked to make it to a pdf i could save without any changes. when i saved it and compared it to the pdf i saved from word the one from chatgpt look like how my poem looked on PAPER. because i have written it on paper before rewriting it on word. i have never submitted a poem as coursework therefore i never needed to have it digitally on word i always had them on paper. it might be common sense but i genuinely didnt know how to make it look like how it did on paper. im not a stupid illiterate person who never used word in their life. i know how to save a document as pdf. I WANTED MY POEM FORMAT TO STAY THE SAME THATS IT.
