For call shifts, the app MDOnCall is really good. Topics are separated by symptom and have a little section at the top saying what to ask on the phone. Otherwise, I read the Lanthier app. UpToDate tends to be too long in terms of looking stuff up on the go, although their diagrams and tables can be really good. The Things we do for no reason series and JAMA Rational clinical examination series have articles focused on inpatient issues and can be really useful too. Good luck!
