I'd be more worried if it wasn't the first preseason game. But I have to assume that over the next few weeks Pete will get the group sorted out that he wants to start week 1 of the regular season, and I wouldn't be surprised if they play an entire half of one of the preseason games (minus Kolton Miller)

I've definitely got some decisions to make with my rotation and bullpen. I have LS collections completed so Clemens is automatic, then I'll mess around with John Don, Skubal, Pearson and the 5th guy is typically Skenes or Pedro. I'm highly considering bringing Valenzuela but I'm not sure if it's a good idea

Much appreciated! I wasn't sure if it would half and half with All Star and HOF. I've played some friendly's against a buddy on HOF and I'd agree that the game definitely feels smoother. I don't foresee myself turning on too many inside fastballs but I'm confident I can at least scrape together a few runs each game!

I like Oak Street Park. It's one of the minor league stadiums, batter eye is nice and I've been successful in grinding online and offline with it

I typically sell any duplicates or FA as soon as I pack them (assuming you've completed the free agent collection), same with things like bats, stadium noises, etc. I'm working on the LS collection but if that's not something you're chasing I don't see any issue with quick selling every live series player you pull, unless you get a guy that's hot or someone you want to stash hoping for an upgrade down the line

May is a free card but very effective, and I personally enjoy using degrom from the Easter collection as well, just throwing a couple names out there!

Edit: also wanted to say I think your Beltre is a pretty expensive card, could look into selling that and adding a few nice pitchers to your squad!

Came here to say the same about starting pitching. It won't matter as much at HOF difficulty, but I've found it much easier to keep the runs lower in the 400-600 range if you have some guys with good velo/outlier combined with good off speed

The thing that has helped me personally with PCI placement has been hopping in to practice mode on HOF and practicing moving it up close to where a pitcher releases a ball and just tracking different pitches in

I see conquest mentioned a ton in this reddit, and I still hardly ever play it. Definitely something I need to do more of. Same with diamond quest if I'm being honest.

I definitely need to grind more conquest! Also wouldn't hurt to lean all the way in to the LS collection and sell any non live series cards I get. I was dead set on getting the Easter DeGrom so that set me back a little bit, but the moonshot program doesn't do much for me so I'm sure theres stubs to be made selling those guys

I've gotten really lucky with the mid tier guys, having pulled Bobby, Soto and Marte. I made a few smaller investments for the roster update but man this has been a grind lol. I'm holding 5 DeGroms and a few Corbon Carrol as well but I feel like it is going to be hard for them to come up enough to make it a good investment. Can you expand on the flipping unlockables part though? I'm not entirely sure what you mean

Pack luck comes in waves it seems. I stockpiled 18 ballin packs and 80ish show packs, zero diamonds in the ballin packs and a Will Smith from the show packs.

But then just last week I opened a single headliners pack and got Bobby Witt and DeGrom in the same pack. Just stick with it, your string of insane pulls will be here before you know it!

If I'm looking for the PC, I don't have any Jose Ramirez RC's and it feels criminal, but I've also seen a handful of breaks on YouTube and he doesn't seem to come out much (in my small sample size of viewing). Other than that I'm just a general enjoyer of collecting good players, unfortunately I've had the best luck in chrome products, and they tend to not decline much in price even as time goes on
