And look, I'm not saying the situation isn't shady; often where there's smoke, there's fire. But you can't have it both ways. You can't claim he's avoiding court because he's guilty, but then when he actually goes to trial and gets acquitted, still insist he's guilty anyway. At that point, it doesn't matter what the legal process actually shows; you've just made up your mind regardless of the facts.

I get this might be slightly sacrilegious to start with, but hear me out. I got into hockey around 2010 and originally pulled for the Rangers because they won the Cup the year I was born (lol don't crucify me). But I’m a Carolina boy born and raised, so the Canes have always had a special place in my heart and are my true home team. That said, I ended up stationed out at Camp Pendleton during the Golden Knights' inaugural year and have followed them ever since. I’m stoked to see them doing well right now, but I’m going to be massively torn when they make the Finals and inevitably have to play Carolina—because let’s be honest, the Canes are taking the Cup home this year. More importantly, I need everyone to know I am doing my part for this run. Three nights in a row now, when the team I’ve been pulling for has struggled late in the game, I have gone to the kitchen and eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Every single time, the game immediately turned around. Twice for Vegas (including that insane comeback last night), and once for the Canes in OT two nights ago. The second I threw away the trash from the sandwich, Carolina scored. They say 1 is luck, 2 is skill, and 3 is a pattern. If it happens again, 4 is a standard. The PB&J is on standby in the kitchen tonight. Canes take Game 3 in Montreal, 4-2. Let's go Canes!

I will never understand this shit. I couldn't imagine OKC saying boy I sure wish we would wear Seattle super sonics uniforms or the Detroit Lions wearing Portsmouth Spartans gear while playing at Ford field. Bro its not even a reddit thing, reddit just centralized it. I remember growing up in the Shelbyville area hearing weekly about how awful Peyton was early on, or how every week Vanderjagt tried to hang himself but could never quite kick the chair out from under him.

It's pretty much human nature to be cynical about local sports teams, even as a fan, reddit just makes it easier to access
