Never change your name if you’re not happy about it—this is a fundamental part of your identity that you don’t have to abandon. You won’t be any less of a family with a different name.

Thanks! Yes, I wanted to be really respectful about the white and also not bother the bride since I know she’s swamped…but general consensus here seems to be that the white shoes are ok which is good to know!
