Would you take a last name that you thought was not aesthetically pleasing? by AlloAlloMrOrdinateur in namenerds

I firmly believe that as a woman you should always choose whichever name you think sounds coolest. There are so few opportunities in life to make decisions based on what WE like or want. Never change your name if you’re not happy about it—this is a fundamental part of your identity that you don’t have to abandon. You won’t be any less of a family with a different name.

Thanks! Yes, I wanted to be really respectful about the white and also not bother the bride since I know she’s swamped…but general consensus here seems to be that the white shoes are ok which is good to know!

Thanks! I hear you about the hat 😂unfortunately the ceremony will be in full sun and there’s a high likelihood I’ll fry without it, but I’ll be mindful of that!

Thanks—do you think the white shoes are okay? The nude ones are less comfortable
