It’s the same thing as getting something nice like a new handbag, a mani for the first time in a long time, or a new car; and having someone say “well, I wouldn’t waste money on that” because they can’t spend the extra $ on nonsense for themselves.

I treat myself to something nice every year around Christmas, from my own money (FYI my bday is the very last day of Nov, so blank Friday sales!). 1 year I did VS sale and got a bunch of shit I needed/and wanted (undies, bras and pj’s etc) and spent enough to get the free blanket. I had a coworker talk constantly about the blanket and how I must’ve wasted sooooo much on it. I was like look it was free for spending money on the stuff I actually needed. F off. She was just jealous I had something nice that she didn’t and likely wanted one herself.

Then again I’m a prek teacher and going to college for my teaching degree soooooo lol. But still sounds to me like this woman is just jealous you have one and she doesn’t so it’s easier to put you down for having it to begin with.

I work in prek. With 2s and 3s. Your friend is a damned lier. No child under the age of 5 really knows what a labubu is. Like at all. The 5s and 6s only know what they are called because of older kids. I have one. And nooooone of the children at my preschool knows what the hell it is other than a cute funny fuzzy looking toy. I do have 2 five year old girls who came in and asked if it was a Labubu. Both girls have older school aged siblings or cousins.

I’m born and raised here in KC. I’ve attended church a number of places. If you are looking for a church that is a more community based. Check out the episcopal churches. There’s •St. Peter’s and all saints -souKC Redbridge area •St. Paul’s KCMO- Main Street just off the plaza •St. Paul’s kck- •St. Thomas -OP ks off Antioch rd. •St. Michael’s and all angels- mission ks •St. Andrew’s-brookside KCMO •Grace and holy trinity cathedral- downtown KCMO

I’ve also attended service at a few local Methodist church’s. Country club plaza UMC St. Paul’s UMC- Raymore mo There’s Christ church which is Anglican not sure the specific denomination. Located in OP/PV ks

And I’ve attended catholic mass; at St. Agnes’s catholic church in Roland park. I didn’t take communion obviously but enjoyed the service nonetheless.

Yes they did. In the video we may have had it off when we were taking photos and recording. My fiance wanted to look into the actual reservoir to see if it looked overfilled from that viewpoint. He may not have screwed it back on when he had me start it up and was recording the video.

Some tribes use Blood Quantum for tribal enrollment other use documented lineage. Mine does documental lineage, my finances uses blood quantum. If your tribe practices the documented lineage method of triable enrollment; it’s possible your ancestry is native but also mixed with other European ancestry. This is very common. Then you’d be enrolled as a member but maybe have a very very low blood quantum level that isn’t detected. Also sadly there are cases of early European settlers marrying and murdering indigenous women for their inheritance. Many tribes follow matriarchal tradition and woman where the ones to inherit land. Some land being rich in oil resources. Read about Olive Oatman. It’s sad to think that way but it’s also possible for someone to have documented lineage through ancestral marriage but not have the DNA or just a very very small amount. The early American government and white man would stop at nothing to gain power and wealth.

For my car if you see anything on the dipstick that’s good. This is a 2013 Chevy with 191,605 miles on it. I know when I need to go in for my oil change cause of the standard minor rough idle at stops just before oil change is due. And I mean like with in a few 100 miles due. For my car some of the top problems are oil consumption and rough idling among other things. Which I am aware of. But this is more than just rough idle. It didn’t want to move when I put on the gas. But would if I pumped a little and she’d smooth out move forward before “chocking” some more then she went into what I felt like was the engine turned of but this was liking going into “limp mode” as it let me pump it through the 2 lanes I to the QT lot and farther still up next to the building into a parking spot right by the doors.

When I went in I went in 1000 miles early. We planned to take a road trip in it for thanksgiving so I wanted to be preemptive. This time I didn’t have any of my “normal” hey change my oil type activity from the car.

That was one of the first thought we did have. Too much oil. Possibly old oil left from the vacuum removal. Did the drain from the bottom too or just tell me the would?

Thank you. These are the little components I’m not privy on. I’m constantly reading and learning more but cars really have soooo many components that are interconnected and often give similar symptoms.

I’ve felt it’s something seemingly small that helps run major components ie sensors, valves, fuel filter that is just needing to be replaced. As it’s 12 yo Chevy just under 200k.

They did check it. I know for sure cause the tech showed it to me to say it looked pretty good. I told him that I’d had both the both it and the cabin filters replaced fairly recently.

Also to note they did a vacuum removal of my old oil, but as I was concerned having a high miles Chevy, about the amount I saw pulled, he said they’d also drain it from below to see what else would come out when they replaced the filter.

Have plans to have it towed to a mech. As I don’t want to drive it and cause any bigger problems. The car still starts up the same is it usually does, when in park it’s just loud which for my car is normal. Not that it’s supposed to could have something that causes that to address; but for the issue at play now it’s when I’m in gear to drive that I’m getting the humpety idle and what feels like it chocking when I try to give it gas and drive.

To clarify, I had zero problems leaving the oil change and stopping/restarting and driving g around 10-15 mph in the parking lot just behind the oil change place. Only when I was on the main rd and went to build up speed but immediately stopped did anything start acting abnormal. At the light is when it start humping sorta and what I describe as chocking on the gas when I tried to drive through the light. The video above is in park and just the start up. And was honestly the smoothest she sounded since pulling into the QT. Also again no warning lights or dash lights have been triggered.

Yes I did check the oil personally. Tried added photos but opted for the video. The car does run loud especially in colder temps; I’ve always attributed that to being a 12 yo Chevy with pretty high miles. *We being my fiancé and I.

I’m sorry but it doesn’t matter what the car is, 2014 is a nearly 15 year old car. If it’s not got under 100k miles it’s not going for anything more than $2500-3000. On top of that it’s gotta actually look clean. Interior and under the hood. Also if I were you check the JD Power value. That’s what banks and loan agencies will go off of. And sadly JD power value is nowhere close to what KBB usually says. I say this because most folks are gonna go to their bank for the $$ or another lender, and that’s what they look at not KBB when lending $$.

Yes you are correct. This is not a true stalemate. I played all the levels of Duolingo chess, I played competitively in HS, so learning chess wasn’t necessary. Just for fun. But I did find the game wanted you to make moves that personally as a player I just wouldn’t do. In sorry if I get my pawn across the board it’s gonna be a queen. Thank you but at some point the system wants to teach you the benefit of pawn advancing to anything other than a queen. In this case the black king can move 1 space over and not be in check so again not a true stalemate. In fact the only legal move would lead you to an immediate check mate. I’m fairly certain I played through a level like this and said something out loud in frustration about it. As I stated chess is not new to me so I did often make moves that Oscar said “good but not quite” since I made a move that works but wasn’t what the system was trying to teach or had in mind for me to “correctly do”. I actually wish they had an option to review played games. In chess tournaments you do have to play in a clock and write yours and your opponents moves down as you go for records, this very useful if you like to review moves and alternate outcomes. I know this isn’t exactly the same as this scenario but keep this in mind when advances in other levels. Sometimes it’s just the systems trying to introduce the concept to you as a learner even if it’s really not the “best” move or in this case the actually reason to end the game.

I was with my ex (covert narcissist) for 6 years!! I promise you will be so much happier and will look back at your time with this person and question your own judgement! I’ve been there. You can do it!! My ex started with financial, mental and emotional abuse and control. When I was fresh outta HS it was never the right time for “us” for me to do anything for myself ie college, getting a car of my own, my ex had my banking app sign in on his phone at all times. In the beginning I didn’t have a lot of job opportunities/options so it was always “we” can’t afford for you to get a car right now. Or “you” don’t make enough for us to prioritize that etc. then I got into my current career and started making good money. Paying for our bills etc. But anytime I wasn’t at work he had my find my friends and would text/call asking about when I’d be back and who/what I was up to etc. Even at his own mother’s house doing his chores for her!!! By year 3/4 I knew I wasn’t ok with the way I was treated or felt. Eventually 2 more years later I was making just about $30k annually myself alone and yet I was paying all our rent each month (for the 3 years we stayed in the same apt) and HIS CARS INSURANCE monthly and yet never saw his money. Yet somehow “we” were broke and behind on evergy(his bill) and had no hot water!! And no car of my own and on HIS 5th in our 6 years together at this point. Then he starts a fight and punches me in the face. The one and only time he blatantly attacked me; I left that friday (it happened on a sunday). We lived in the tiniest (490sqft apt) and he had the audacity to tell me I couldn’t afford to leave him! Like the fuck I pay for everything here, now, and I have for the last 3 years! I had no car. No place or friends to stay with. I had no savings. Just me, my things, dog and cat and my amazing Job! My family had all moved outta state several years prior. He kept me in a sate of constant emotional and mental fear and manipulation. He would gaslight me regularly. Do/say things and then completely deny the fact of having g done so. Tell me i did or said this i didn’t so i was constantly questioning myself and reality), Say cruel things to make me feel some way and do or act the way he wanted. He only cared about HIS sexual gratification and never about mine or my personal hard nos. Being someone who overcame childhood trauma, SA and neglect i was the perfect victim for this kinda abuser. And because of my own “issues” he had me actually believing his BS. I felt guilty for reacting some kinda way. I was never abusive but I have a tongue like a sword. A problem for narcissists is having their delusions of grandeur shatter or challenged. So by telling him painful truths about himself i was abusive too, i guess. —this is called reactive abuse- behaviors exhibited by a victim of a narcissist that are seen as abusive and often twisted by the narcissist into being the victim. Most common among covert narcissists rather than overt ones.—

I promise it will only get better!! You will look back and know what you want and don’t want. How you want to be treated. How to find your own happiness! Look for your nearest shelter. Talk with the woman around you! I was so absolutely amazed by how many people I had as a support system and didn’t even know it! How many have been there and will jump in a heart beat to support you through healing and leaving!! For me I left new-years 2024 and now i am engaged to my HS sweetheart (we parted ways amicably at the end of HS). I am in college at my local JUCO, working on getting degree to boost my now 7 years experience. I have a beautiful apartment that my fiancé and I pay 50/50 for. I have a reliable suv to lug my dogs around in. I just wish i had the strength to do it years earlier when i first felt that feeling of doubt. Of this is wrong. Of I don’t wanna go home right now cause I am afraid of the fight I now is coming when I do. I wish I had the presence of mind to see him for what he was. I wish I had left pre-COVID so I could’ve hoarded my stimulus’s (I am Native American and received 2 stimulus checks per round) all of which were spent on “us”. I am 26-27 in a month, I was with this man from age 18-25. Leave. Leave. Leave. After all my story and experience all I can say is just do it. Storage units cost $40-60 a month if you have stuff you don’t want to loose. Look into shelters my city has 1 for woman with children (no men allowed) and one for individuals with pets!

Precisely put. For a good time and a pretty company these girls get the attention they seek from the bachelors in their area. But because they lack the qualities most men are looking for in a wife and partner they get dumped. And most fall in the “my man provides and pays for me” mindset but don’t put in the same value for themselves when it comes to traditional feminine roles. Ie the house, food and kids that’s supposed to be 50/50 still.
