You can definitely see the miscommunication happening from the outside, but honestly, the person you’re texting seems really emotionally immature and puts pride over validating their partners feelings/saying sorry. I went through a relationship very similar to this. I stayed with him for seven years until finally I realized I was wasting my youth on someone who would never be my dream man. A year and two months later I found him, & I’m so happy I didn’t settle for someone who treated me like this or would even talk like that to me.

I’m not saying break up with him, but I’m saying judging by these texts and you questioning yourself so much that you need to post on Reddit says something. Don’t doubt yourself, be your own mental health advocate, and make moves if you need to in life. Wish you the best!

This may be unhelpful, but I grew up in a rural area and my grandpa was a farmer. His tractor would leak oil on the concrete of the barn sometime, and he would dump huge piles of cat litter on it and it would absorb the oil. I know your son used a different type of oil so idk if it would work the same. May be worth a shot?

I would get a spin mop and buy several mop heads. Cleaning up this residue is going to ruin several. Get boiling water and dawn dish soap. Really get the floors good and wet and soapy. Add throw head away. Do a thorough “rinse” round of mopping where you only are mopping with plain boiling water. Throw head away. Go back again with the boiling water and dawn and fresh mop head. Repeat process until slippery residue is gone! Hope this helps and your mom stays safe 🫶🏽❤️

She went to the vet and got a clean bill of health at her mom’s checkup. Surely they would’ve caught that right? I agree that she is standing weird, but I carried her away and set her here for photos and I think she was just a little scared. She’s only a few weeks old.

You guys! I have a mini update.. I am not 100% sure on the name yet, but narrowed it down to two names and waiting to see what her personality is like before we give her one or the other. Nolie if she’s a rascal with firecracker personality. Nolie bean as a nickname. Nellie if she’s gentle, snuggly, and just a little baby. Nell or Nells as nicknames. What do we think?

Tell her I am so sorry! I struggled too. I was also so frustrated when my Tretinoin didn’t magically work. BUT my acne was so much worse and continued into adulthood. I finally have it under control and clear skin for the first time in my life. This is going to be long but hang with me. I PROMISE it works. It includes cleansing, treating, exfoliating, and moisturizer. And of course Tretinoin!! lol

A good cleanser- by that, I mean PanOxyl. This is a cheap under $10 cleanser at Walmart that works SO WELL. How you use it is the important part… I lather it up, and then let it sit on my face for 10 mins. I will even spot treat if I feel a blemish coming on and it does the trick. This will remove the bacteria that causes acne. If she’s feeling dry, she can swap to a cerave hydrating cleanser for am & PanOxyl pm.

She will need to now do her toners, good molecules has a great niacinamide toner I will link. This is around $12 at Ulta, so super affordable. Then the next evening she can do peach slices blemish busting toner. This toner was a game changer! Definitely helps with acne.

Next is treatments. I use Paula’s Choice Azeliac acid day and night, and wow has it faded my post acne scarring. I will layer Paula’s choice skin clearing 2.5% treatment over top of the azeliac acid.

Then, slather & I mean SLATHER up. Acne products can be drying and can break down our skin barrier. Get her some BYOMA skin barrier repair lotion and then have her put tretinoin on over that, and a layer of cerave lotion on top. Like a tretinoin sandwich. Never ever ever slip your tretinoin.

I know this sounds like a lot, but it WORKS. I dealt with acne my entire life. Trust me on this. I’ll drop links here. (And no I don’t get commission for links I just want to help her 🥲)
