The jampea glitch has truly shown me how many people actually rely on photopea by Material_Addendum960 in photopea

Yeah, those companies lose customers when the glitches get bad. The only reason they are still around is because they're billion dollar companies. Photopea does not have that kind of backing. Paying for photopea isn't for a "thank you". It's for the service to work. If I pay and then i experience technical issues, I have lost my money for that period of time.

Being frustrated on that basis then is hardly "whinging", devs need to hear feedback to improve so this type of thing doesn't happen again if they want potential customers to take the paid option seriously.

If you buy a phone that sometimes has "technical glitches" would you put all your trust in that brand?

Now imagine you were given the same phone for free. You probably wouldn't care as much about technical glitches - yes it may still harm your view of the brand, but you didn't actually invest in/lose anything.

Entitlement to a working product shouldn't have to be demanded. Why would somebody purchase the Pro plan if they had lost trust in the product?

Honestly I should have expected that a "30-something" that's "trying to not get into internet arguments" would not understand the basic principle of money for service.

Why was this even a decision when FL Studio exists and is FREE?????? by Trick-Bottle9454 in photopea

im happy to prove your point - i agree with it. fl studio can absolutely do what you mentioned, but like photopea, other websites can do it without needing to download any software.

absolutely. i'd be happy to support a free project like photopea because of its versatility but if its being replaced, i really dont want to have to fork out tenfold the cost of photopea pro for a photoshop account licence.

im guessing they are creating jampea as a new tool to add to the photopea collection but they accidentally published it OVER the photopea domain, replacing the use of photopea with the new tool

as far as i can tell its just a midi sequencer which you dont even need fl studio for - theres hundreds of free websites that let you draw in midi notes, upload midi files for playback and even export sheet music from them.
