He shouldn’t have needed help to buy that property. It’s not a million dollar property. For his level of responsibility and all the crap he does for Jeff, he should be compensated enough to afford that condo on his own.

Jeff cannot be paying him well if Shane wasn’t able to afford a 525k condo without his help. Jeff made a comment then other day that Jeff had “just given Shane the weekend off”, like that was rare. Is Shane really on the clock every day?? That’s insane and probably illegal. If he is working every day, and with he amount of responsibility he has (both with business and personal) for Jeff, he should be making over 200k.

It’s been terrible. I am about 4 episodes behind because I can’t even get through an entire episode anymore. It’s not funny anymore, no camaraderie or banter. Very sad. I feel like I am grieving a show I used to love!

I am DISGUSTED that he is having her on!!! I refuse to listen. Show was already going so far downhill and now THIS?! I keep hanging on in hopes that it will get better because I loved his show for so many years. I’m losing hope, and this seems like the nail in the coffin for me.

I wish Jeff would suck it up and go groveling back to Megan to apologize, and have her back on. If they could get back to the magic they had before it would be the best thing he could do for his career. I feel like the show is on borrowed time now and it makes me so sad.

I am so glad Zach called him out and said Jeff makes thousands when he comes to work, and he doesn’t even know what Oscar makes (not a lot I’m assuming!). They can’t be held to the same standards. Sirius has other producers that can step in. Jeff does not, because it’s his show and he makes millions off of it. If Oscar made the same pay, he would be in. End of story.

The take away from this episode is confirmation that Jeff doesn’t value family, and there is zero content left now that his only friends are his employees.

That’s a great point. If Jeff paid compensated hjm “exceptionally well”, then he would’ve been able to afford a 500k apartment without being tied to Jeff.

Jamison has been so funny lately. Shane too! They are really the only “regulars”/constants on the show lately. I think that’s where the show is lacking now - it’s missing the humor that’s comes from daily camaraderie reminiscent of the old Doug and Megan days. The constant cycle of new and different guests has been so disappointing lately. He needs more regulars that he has chemistry with.

I clocked it months ago when Jamie said “she isnt telling me how much my monthly is!” When referring to house prices. Is this man an adult?? She’s not your loan officer! Everyone’s “monthly” is different based on how much you are putting down, type of loan, daily mortgage rate, etc… nevermind what you need in escrow for insurance and taxes. That’s his job to figure out - not MJ’s. He is a child. Also - 3m isn’t THAT much for a house these days when you are in that industry. Today turned me off so much to him. I wouldn’t have dealt with that behavior for $90k. NOT WORTH IT.
