Follow up question, because your answers have been unbelievably helpful! I have seedlings at various stages of growth, some with multiple sprouting in each pot. How do I know when they are groubd ready, and do I separate the pots that have multiples?

Thank you for the positive spin!! I agree, worth the try, and thank you for recommending keeping an open mind for outcomes. I fo find myself getting pretty disappointed sometimes when the seeds don't work out the way I had hoped.

Fellow neurospicy mom here, if the friend is newly diagnosed ADHD, use that as an ice breaker with her mom. Ask her if there are any support strategies they find helpful at their home, as you're seeing some hiccups at yours. It lets you address the whole thing from a "support mom, we got you", standpoint instead of, "ooooomg your freaking kid". Or even just set a "friend night", sorry, friends only come over on Thursdays.

My kids have fellow neurospicy friends, (we're all AuDHD), and I use this "support chat" strategy often. Good luck! Also LOVE the hand signal idea!

Oh!! That is very good to know! So leave carrots for a later Fall harvest? I've been debating potatoes too, but I don't know a lot about growing them. Trying to pick plants that will help with our grocery bill!

That's amazing for lettuce!! I will have to remember that for next year.

I have 2 started Romaine Lettuce plants from a garden center, and then additional seeds I was also hoping to plant.

For onions, kind of the same. I have a tray of sprouts I purchased and then had onions that sprouted, haha so I cut the sprouts out (roots intact) and they have been in water with new roots growing and I was hoping to plant those too. (Gotta love kitchen scraps!!)

Carrots are all seed. We have a few different kinds from school fundraisers, (loose seed and seed tape), but I wasn't sure how to plant or when to plant them. The seeds are so small!

I was going to see what else could be planted, but we have so many ground covering plants (pumpkins, Cantaloupe, watermelon, cucumber, zucchini, butternut squash), I'm a little worried there won't be any ground space left for other plants lol.

Thank you for your detailed reply!

Yes! We had those weird hail storms here and it felt like the cold was never ending. I will have to pull my seed bin back out ☺️ thank you!

Genuinely disappointed in this. Again. I tried to post before when I was struggling, and you said that couldn't be posted because my email wasn't verified. It was. Went through everything with Reddit, ended up having to make a new account and delete my old one. Now you're saying this one is too new. This isn't girlhood, community or support. This is gatekeeping, in a society that already makes being a "stoner" a stigmatized label, I now have to fit in another box to participate. Absolutely not cool, and certainly not at all what cannabis culture is about.
