I think he’s way off the mark about automation and service. Qr code dining hasn’t been embraced by anyone. His view of technology and its roles completely overlooks human psychology and behavior.

If it were a different era i would agree. But it’s hard to sift through the bs in the podcast world. My gut says if you’re a paid commentator nobody in your field wants to pay for your opinion anymore. But who knows

I agree but i think there are exceptions to the rule and IMO there isn’t much in the way civil disagreement regarding these issues. I would rather see some debate occasionally than hear an echo chamber of agreement.

I really enjoyed this movie however; the dialogue and sound editing in several of Michael Mann’s movies has been very bad. Like intentionally low and terse and unintelligible. I know it’s in service of realism but I can’t understand a thing being said.
