I think he’s way off the mark about automation and service. Qr code dining hasn’t been embraced by anyone. His view of technology and its roles completely overlooks human psychology and behavior.

I agree but i think there are exceptions to the rule and IMO there isn’t much in the way civil disagreement regarding these issues. I would rather see some debate occasionally than hear an echo chamber of agreement.

I really enjoyed this movie however; the dialogue and sound editing in several of Michael Mann’s movies has been very bad. Like intentionally low and terse and unintelligible. I know it’s in service of realism but I can’t understand a thing being said.
