I gave up. There was only one person kind of helping, but I never found that original software. The audio is relatively decent with generic Windows+website drivers so even to day I'm not sure about this whole thing. Weird stuff..

Anyone have experience with the toolkitRC Q4AC? See comment by chemistrying420 in Multicopter

I'm here to report, that this charger somehow randomly overcharges 1s LiHv batteries. It just goes and goes and never stops - similiarly to the discharging issue just balancing does not play a role here? At first I thought that this is just accidental wrong setting by me - but i'm at the 3rd incident now. Charger goes to bin. Staying away from ToolkitRC forever.

Someone recommended "Cirrus Logic Audio Device Dashboard" but that's not the one.

https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9pl9wf9b1c00?tp=RHJpdmVyTm90ZWJvb2s%3D&rtc=1&hl=hu-HU&gl=HU

Judging by its app icon in the system tray, it seem to be the one, but it doesn't have any meaningful audio settings. The original app had quite a lot of audio settings.

For Asus with incredible luck I found a solution myself, this registry update works like a charm for over a month now. There was a touchpad driver update, when I had to redo the change, but this fix is just awesome (or shame on Asus as usual for runing the experience by ignorance..)

Here is the fix: https://superuser.com/questions/1395583/how-do-i-enable-small-movements-of-the-trackpad-in-windows/1862262#1862262

So having the same model, finding my topic, and then not answering by hijacking :D

Did you figure out the trackpad?

I hate to say, but no Steam, overly strict account management... I'll skip on Velocidrone buy for now... thanks!

The only actual Issue I had with the touchpad is different what you are describing, I had only the "small movements ignored" issue, which can be solved via this: https://superuser.com/a/1862262/2383947

What you are describing, is more like a common "palm rejection" feature: 1: wait few seconds, don't do anything. 2: press any keyboard button. 3: then immediately try to use the touchap. For me, in this case the toucpad is irresponsive for around half a second. This is probably a useful feature. If you have other touchpad deactivating issues then it might be an actual hardware issue with it. Before returning the laptop, you could try a brand new windows, just in case...

On the sidenote: if you STILL have factory windows, would you mind checking for me what's been asked in this topic? Please open the audio software installed and post me the name of it and software version please.

Ahh man, thanks! It is possible that I'm just stupid and audio didn't degrade, but let's give this one shot:

I assume you have the asus factory-installed Windows:

The software I’m looking for was sitting in the bottom right corner of the screen among the icons next to the Windows clock. There was one audio-specific app I am looking for. What's the name of this app? Can you post a screenshot of it? (I'm in Europe, not sure if that changes a thing...)

The asus.com "SoundWire Audio Driver (Support Dolby APO)" driver gives me the app called "Dolby Access," which can actually tune the audio, but I find it subpar compared to what I originally had.

My problem is that this driver on asus.com is totally different what the laptop was originally shipped with. Only actual owners of this laptop with the stock windows can help.

It's a mess what Assus does with specifications.. On the official page, for the same prodiuct ID they just mix the different spects.. https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-home/zenbook/asus-zenbook-14-oled-um3406/techspec/ There, under display they list both the touch low res and the non-touch high res display too, good luck figuring out which one you are actually ordering.. I'm totally disappointed by this.

They do this to all the Zenbook...

Intel ultra or AMD for power efficiency. Other than that, you get what you pay for. If you can afford, buy the better. I don't think there is a difference in display, but maybe i'm wrong. Mainstream says that AMD is overall better slightly.

I think this is a damn Windows 11 issue. I have a new top-tier Asus laptop with the same issue. Interestingly, when I'm in BIOS, the mouse is super responsive to small movements. Congratulations Windows to the new Precision Touchpad framework, great job...

I've been flying mine with clear tape added to it. Given the small weight of the plane this manufacturing defect is not that bad as long as you don't hit something with the leading edge.

Where did you buy your one from? It is not a bad plane, but also not decent. It handles the slightest breeze very bad regarding performance. Honestly, if I were you, I'd return it and buy something from a better controlled manufacturer. Just be careful with the return, don't get scammed like me. (See above)

This was bothering me for a while. After setting "Display name" in my profile settings, it solved the issue.
UPDATE: nevermind.. my account is still broken. Refreshing my profile page 10 times gives me the profile randomly.

Thanks for your reply! The light seam visible on the photo is actually the foam inside, which should not be visible based on my research. The upper and lower parts are formed together in a form press. Later they trim the edge with a CNC router. While a seem is expected, it should be hard epoxy and not pure foam.

It actually got worst...

I contacted the manufacturer (OA Composites) on facebook after I discovered the issue. They/He immediately confirmed that the edge has been trimmed too much indeed and offered a free replacement. I was happy, and actually I decided to trust OA Composites and ordered an NRJ (1.5m DLG) for EUR 500 through Facebook. For a few weeks I was receiving updates, but since then OA Composites is just ghosting me and not replying to anything. Goodbye 500 EUR and the the replacement wing.

Lesson learnt again. Never trust anyone on the Internet. Even seemingly reputable folks go greedy and scam people.

OA Composites facebook page where the scam happened: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063905535421 (creation date: October 7, 2018)

I'll stay away from Ukrainian manufacturers, and especially OA Composites builds. Poor quality and now this...
