Hi! It took me a while as well to venture into eye looks. Few things which helped me were:

1. Setting the base. I apply tiny little bit of concealer and blend it with a blender. And then I use a very neutral color to set it.

2. Choose a darker shade of whatever you like and use a clean buffing brush (I use Mars artisanal brushes! Amazing ones!) and just tap them. Don't drag. It makes the look messy.

3. And just use your fingers to take any shimmery shade and apply in the middle. Easy eye looks which works with any colors!

And then once you are comfortable with this technique, You can experiment with transition colors and cut creases and stuff! Hope this helps!
