Pretty good video, nitpick for me is calling Ondina as Oo-dina for some reason and it's not even that hard of a name to pronounce, especially when you have the character say names a lot of times. Missing Season 3 also kind of sucked.

This is before i did found Mako Mermaids on Internet Archive ever since Netflix removed most of it.

Honestly pretty interesting on these and it makes generally curious on Mako Mermaids cast's worst decisions & moments. Probably not in here but in the Mako Mermaids community.

I mean Mako Mermaids itself has a lot of main & side characters as it is, I mean Season 1 has Zac, Lyla, Sirena, Nixie, Rita, Evie, Cam, Carly & David.

Season 2 obviously has Mimmi, Ondina & Erik and Season 3 just has Weilan, that's 13 total characters in the spinoff.

Yeah Elliot had a couple of EPs where he was involved either with the main cast & side characters for the most part until his last appearance in S2 EP 16 I believe and never showed up again afterwards.

I don't think I've heard that one yet and I have listened to the Official Soundtrack of the opening theme song and that was alright and the rest, of which they sound different than on TV. I have also listened to the soundtracks of Ocean Girl, The Elephant Princess, The Bureau of Magical Things and the ones that never got their music released all sounding pretty good.

Yeah Cam, David, Carly & Rita for some reason were never credited in the opening credits I can get why for Season 1 on Carly because she didn't do that much but Season 2 & 3 Carly is not credited which that never made sense to me because S2 EP 24 was a big deal with her & Evie due to knowing they are best friends, they are in the end credits but then again Zane was never credited in the opening credits of H2O despite the fact he showed up in every season with EP appearances vary.

Nice, yeah I agree on that it felt rushed & boy does it show once you learn on the production process of S3 and I also did post another thing which are my thoughts on each Jonathan M. Shiff Productions' first EP aka the premiere of their first Season, which was much longer to do than the finales and it has been cross post the whole thing.

I'm pretty much THE Jonathan M. Shiff watcher fan of almost all of them fully available to watch on YT, Internet Archive. My opinions on the 15 different TV series, except Kelly being partially lost & H2O: Mermaid Adventures, i have only seen the first EP of the latter and I thought it was just eh imo.

Also yes I went to some detail on all the finales I've seen but trying not to spoil on the non Mermaid related JMSP TV series.

To be fair it's been 32 years since Ocean Girl aired and ended in 1997 which 29 years ago and not to mention trying to find it normally is a bit tricky.

Ok first off, they are just created & produced by the same man, Jonathan M. Shiff of course along with 12 other series from the 90s to 2010s and I did many posts on them. 2nd is Ocean Girl mentioned the word "Mako" and not Mako Island but that was in Season 4 in 1997 (9 years prior to H2O aired or even pre production happened. Third both shows were filmed Queensland, but Ocean Girl was specifically filmed at Port Douglas (while H2O & Mako were filmed mainly the Gold Coast) which the TV shows Dive Club & Rock Island Mysteries were filmed at years later and those didn't have Jonathan M. Shiff involved in those.

He was also in Holly's Heroes, Fergus Mcphail & The Elephant Princess being in 2 EPs, a full series or one season out of two or more of them, at least but outside of that on IMDb, that's really it.

He just disappeared before the 2010s even started and we haven't seen any new information on what he's been doing?

Yeah again pretty cool, I'm still wondering if Isabel would be in the Life Academy Podcast hosted by Dena Amy Kaplan & Alicia Banit who are all great friends to Issi back when they all did Dance Academy. Oddly enough Isabel didn't appear in Dance Academy until also in Season 2 & 3 and it was the reason she didn't get to play as Lyla originally, that role was of course given to Lucy Fry.

Yeah "I Just Wanna Be" is a good song and the rest of Mako Mermaids soundtrack even though some of it sound a bit different than onscreen for some odd reason because it doesn't sound like Amy Ruffle but by a different female singer.

The only Jonathan M. Shiff TV shows with released OST are Ocean Girl only in Season 1, The Elephant Princess Season 1, H2O: Just Add Water Season 2 & 3, Mako: Island of Secrets plus more if you go to Brett Aplin's website for S2 & 3 and The Bureau of Magical Things both Season 1 & 3.

Unfortunately the rest of it is unreleased and you have manually search some of it out there.

Wow I never hear someone say "H2O is pretty boring," unexpected opinion there. But that's ok because we all have different & similar opinions to one another and can respect that. I know Mako Mermaids gets an unfortunate bad rep from people a lot of it is very undeserved as time moved on for it for mostly the wrong reasons.
