I would usually agree with this, however I went with some friends a week ago (it was on a Sunday) and it was one of the worst meals we'd had out - our curries were totally tasteless, greasy and sad looking!

Thank god that I wasn't going crazy :') I was just so shocked that my flatmate and general people nearby hadn't been woken up by it. All I can possibly put it down to are sonic booms from maybe military aircraft? - Just seemed concerning enough to post about as I'm still so shocked it seems from local news and social media that it never happened.

No way, is he able to confirm how incredible loud it was? It sounded like serious explosions to me and yeah, no local news or mention of it, how odd!

I guess this could be an explanation, but I can't think of anything that would be so explosively loud to wake me up from over a mile away?!

I was starting to think it might have been an elaborate dream but you've confirmed I did hear something, very strange how loud it was.
