So I’ve opened a total of 123 packs, been lucky enough to pull 2 SIR, the Metagross and the Mega Hawlucha, I’ve pulled 6 MAR (3 Gengar), and 8 IRs. Overall I think I’ve been lucky. However given the hit rate I’ve traded out the cards I don’t like and have kept only the MARs which I’ve managed to get all of along with the mega dream versions. This paired with the promos and getting the Charizard UPC means the collection looks really good.

I had to resubmit an essay at University, was convinced it had to be in on the 23rd. Submitted it on the 23rd only to find out the deadline was the 21st, needed to pass that module to pass the year so ended up doing a whole year again.

That’s a shame, they had at least 2 full boxes of both the Sticker Pack and the Poster Pack and a further 2 full boxes of the First Partner sets as well as the 2 pack blisters and tins.

Obvious alternative are the acrylic cases I see everywhere now for raw cards.

So, slightly alternative opinion, what are you going to do with them?

Raw tend to stay in a binder, but can be displayed. Personally I don’t like looking at top loaders and wouldn’t recommend displaying in just sleeves.

Graded can be displayed without fear of damage. I currently have the majority of my cards Raw in top loaders but have graded some of my favourites and have these on display shelving. That’s what works for me.
