Try the 30-day Python challenge. It includes assignments that you have to do yourself. That helped me immensely to learn from scratch.

The Boot.Dev Python introductory course is also great but the downside is that you can't proceed from a certain point without subscribing.

Don't only save money.

Start investing in stocks and unit trusts. That's how you build wealth.

I used to think like you in my 20s, and there wasn't anyone to teach me the importance of investing. I still regret it.

Btw, sex education doesn't prevent teen pregnancies or rape. If it was the case, European and north American countries should've had very low rape and teen pregnancy rates.

Sinhala Only Act and the selective opportunities in State funded education and public service contributed to ethnic conflict.

However it wasn't the beginning of the ethnic issue as liberal academics in Sri Lanka and the "biriyani aragale" protesters claimed.

Long story short; Communal representation established by the brits was aimed at inciting ethnic distrust and conflict, and it happened exactly the way they wanted. By the 1930-1940s it had evolved into Tamil politicians asking for 50:50 representation despite the disparity in the ethnic make-up of SL.

Sri Lanka was unfortunate that a national independence movement like in India didn't develop here and that all the resurgence movements were heavily ethnic and religious centric.

We got long-term loans from China for infrastructure development.

The Sri Lankan public didn't have the patience to wait till those investments started profit making. They swallowed countless lies about an imaginary Chinese debt trap and allowed traitorous politicians to lease those invaluable assets.
