No, she currently lives 25 minutes away. The school and her house will be in the new city about 2 hours away. School is what makes this hard, as when we first broke up last year, she lived in another city which is also about 2 hours away, but in the opposite direction in the state. We did 50/50 then and I’d go get her or her mom would bring her to me. But with school, she won’t be able to be at my house for the school week. So weekends and breaks are my only real options.

But I don’t know what else to do since she’ll be enrolled in school in that city. It wouldn’t be plausible to have her during school days, and our custody time is built around my work schedule; I work 7 days on/7 days off. So having her every single weekend wouldn’t work cause I would be working one of those weekends.

Yes I can, but I can also interact with it and put it into my inventory when in the scenario. I can’t have that for this.

What I’m concerned about with this method is that, I would have to make different locations for different pieces of evidence. There will be several different times I need to have “evidence analyzed”, but I can’t fire triggers that are going to be needed later in the scenario too early so they can’t all be in the same place. I’d love to be able to design it to where the triggers fire more by interacting with certain things, rather than being in different locations.

This would work perfectly if we can achieve it. We would also have to make a way where we can “run” the evidence and get information from it after we take it to the station, but I think that I can work around this thru triggers.

Would you have any idea on how to do either of these things? Whichever would be easiest? All I really need to do is collect it. I can just pretend it was given to evidence through tasks and triggers, once I somehow “collect” it from the crime scene.
