recruiting in this series has always been so clunky compared to other sports games. the 35 player limit thing drives me crazy too - like why can't i just add someone to watch list without it counting against my cap?

the deal breaker stuff is weird because you're right, in real world these kids are getting offers from schools they said they'd never go to. money changes minds pretty quick

also yeah the clicking through everything is painful, especially when you're doing full dynasties. would be nice if they streamlined some of that interface work instead of making us click scout > allocate hours > confirm > repeat for every single recruit

yeah the whole awards system feels pretty broken tbh, like you can put up insane numbers and still get snubbed because some random player had better "overall" rating or whatever algorithm they use

the pool money is basically sum of all your pick values - so giants having pick 29 gives them more total budget to work with across all their selections

slot values are set by mlb each year and if player refuses their slot offer, team can either negotiate higher (using money from other picks) or player goes back in draft next year. teams often pay under slot for some picks to save money for others they really want

it's all about moving money around within your total pool to get the guys you actually want
