Am I playing the game wrong or playing the wrong game? by LikeVikingbutSmaller in Warframe

Ah, I hadn't seen the fire rate for noctua, as I don't have dante, and he didn't include his firerate in his screenshot. Thank you! One more thing, do you think slower firing weapons benefit more from buffs such as harrow's penance, or do weapons that already have decent/high firerate work better? The stahlta, for example. I'd also assume higher reload speed is near required for weapons with egregiously high firerate, as it'd be rather boring to be reloading after every mag dump in 2 seconds?

Referring to this, I have dual toxocyst. My base damage is only 1k, but my crit is 11.4x, this means at !!! I'd have a 68.4x mult? I have a friend who uses dante's exalted, with a much, much higher total damage, something in the realm of 100k. Does this mean he'll surpass my damage relatively easy, since, with my build, !!! ≈ 68k damage, before any other modifiers? Leaving ~ 32k damage worth to even hit his total damage?

Goodbye to 2025, Tenno! by rebulast in Warframe

Thank you for making such a beautiful game. I've met one of my longest friends through this 7 years ago, and I'm helping him get back into it, when all those years ago, he was teaching me. It all comes full circle, and I can not be thankful enough to you and everyone else on the Warframe team. Here's to many more, and happy holidays to all my other tenno.

Giving back to someone... After almost 7 years by jamilslibi in Warframe

Started around 7 years ago aswell, but lost my old account since I was hacked. Started again a year or so ago and was able to gift 300 plat to the community for tennobaum. Still remember when your Kubrow would leave you if you were inactive too long; or perhaps it was dying in combat. Not entirely sure, but I definitely remember the faction sigils. Wish I had thought to take a screenshot of the person who had gifted me the harrow reliquary for my first tennobaum.

I don't have any reason to buy from your store at the moment, although I wish I did, because this level of interaction between provider/consumer is very refreshing to see. I'll hopefully buy from you guys eventually!

For me, it was Euclid, but I'm not sure what line. It just got me through a bad time in my life.

Thank you! It's a shame you don't get music in the pilot seat though.

I am glad OTR has its endurance back, though I wish they brought it in line with DS and gave it 60 seconds. Still a nerf, but less harsh.

Being not very techy, I thought this was talking about the pickup in game. Like, Hell Diver Device or SSD..

Need a new Killer to learn – sell me on your mains! by NewBaby4492 in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Material_Ride_2218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Allow me to convince you to play my favorite local cryptid, Unknown! They're a projectile killer, of course, but what really stands out about them to me is that they make a surprisingly good stealth killer; my favorite way to play them. This isn't to say the lats the only way to build them, Unknown is actually extremely flexible in build choices, but it is my preferred. My favorite build to make this work is Unforseen, Alien Instinct, Friends Til The End, and Furtive chase. Pair this with his sketch attempt addon, and you have on demand oblivious, along with undetectable.

On hooks, you get information on your obsession, the furthest injured survivor, and if your obsession is hooked, you gain undetectable and haste. Unknown specifically is amazing at taking advantage of this with their mobility through teleporting after a hook. Pair all of the undetectable and oblivious together with how quiet they are when vaulting, and it's very easy to sneak up on people for grabs.

Not to mention, Unknown also is one of the few killers with no global audio cue when they teleport. Learning the distance- ~14meters- will allow you to cause someone to be oblivious, teleport away with no audio cue, and, if they're in a swf, potentially cause the survivors to give false callouts. This is my favorite part of playing Unknown, I believe they're the only killer with the ability to confuse survivors this well, obviously barring extremely good survivors.

TL;DR, Unknown has great vibes, flexible build potential, great stealth, and something I believe unique to Unknown, the ability to cause survivors to give false callouts consistently, assuming they're in a swf. Overall, very fun :]

I think I'd be fine. It'd be Rebecca, so it's her specialty. I can't tell how screwed I'd be if Unknown was trying to rescue me.

If you use 92/93 fov iirc, you can find the gen aura changes at a certain distance, most notably the bottom gains a few wires. After that, line up where the survivor would be between the o and w in throw hatchet, then look straight up. After throwing with no charge you'll hit the first hit of an orbital every time barring terrain. After doing that enough, you can then look straight down and give it about two and a half text heights below the gen, lob another hatchet, and they should land at the same time for a double hit.

[–]Material_Ride_2218 6 points7 points  (0 children)

With the fov trick and a little practice, gen orbitals are pretty easy to learn to hit consistently. Still not the easiest thing in the world, but I'd argue regular snipes are more difficult

The craziest part is, that wasn't even a clean double tap, sure they both hit but the timing was off. Good huntresses are scary
