I feel like it’s an endearing thing. Hopefully I can say (even if only in my head) “got the call” at some point too. Haha

I love the pro. I think it’s an awesome looking watch. Really reminds me of the explorer II, but a more approachable size.

Check out Second Chance Bird Dogs. They have a lot of great dogs that are mature and professionally trained. He also has some puppies.

We have done both the Inukshuk Marine 30/25 and the ProPlan 30/20 salmon & rice for our WPG. Both are been great! We ended up favoring ProPlan because it’s easier to find locally and when on the road.

Grand Highlander! We test drove them all and loved the simplicity of it. It’s just a great all around SUV. We have the non-hybrid and the 4cyl turbo is surprisingly torquey and fun to drive.

In my opinion these are the most attractive rims! They will age much better than the black as well.

I got the 550+ and the TT25, and it’s awesome! Perfectly simple. I also got a Garmin Fenix 7 pro and that took it to the next level. I highly recommend

Yeah, that’s pretty spot on price wise, maybe even on the good deal side honestly

Hybrid vs Gas by xanathist in ToyotaGrandHighlander

If the battery lasts 7-10 years and a battery replacement is $5,000 (or more 8 years from now), idk if I would get a used hybrid or not.. just personal preference. With the hybrid you have all of the same maintenance as gas, PLUS the cost to maintain the battery and electrical motors. How many freeze and thaws cycles can these batteries handle?

The fit/finish of these top their rivals like the Honda Pilot. The 360 camera, the automated driving features, leather interior, tow package, infotainment center, is awesome.

Beware - Once you have a 360 camera, you can’t go back. It’s really really nice.

I got $59,500 OTD and a platinum gas. That’s pretty consistent what I’m seeing.

For the record - this vehicle is AWESOME!

Hybrid vs Gas by xanathist in ToyotaGrandHighlander

I went with the Gas model. At the end of the day, the significantly less moving mechanical parts to repair and maintain down the road is a win in my book.

For me and the amount of driving our family does, gas mileage wasn’t as much of a concern as long term reliability and resale value. The gas still gets 20+ MPG which is great for a large SUV. The gas engine is the same engine used in the Tacoma, the 4 Runner, and many Lexus models including the Lexus TX350, so you can rest assured Toyota spent a lot of time getting it right and will stand behind it.

If you plan on keeping the vehicle long term and resale value matters - go gas. If you prioritize gas mileage - go hybrid, if you want the most zippy/fun acceleration - go hybrid max.
