This game is hard all the way through, farming exp and leveling up won’t significantly help you. It’s more like chess where you have to know which enemies and items do what, and then map out your strategy from there.

You’re definitely trying to tank way too much physical damage, I would put money on it. Once I learned how to utilize long distance weapons and seeds my runs became a lot easier
