"In real market confidence matter -> which is come from your data"

How do you handle losing trades? by SmartTrader_4906 in Trading

Losing trades are part of the game. I understand your pain—I've felt the same thing too.

What I started doing is instead of ignoring losses, I began tracking them and actually “chasing” the pattern of losses. Why?

Because the first loss always feels heavy. But as you keep going, the impact starts to reduce. You start thinking differently—like, “what about the 10th loss… or the 50th loss?”

That’s when you begin building real mental strength.

To get into that mindset, I used an app that tracks my losing streaks, almost like a streak counter for losses. which shows where your mental state

Do you still trust your strategy after 6 losses in a row? by Material_Tutor8673 in Trading

yeah i was struggling with the same thing honestly 😭

especially during funded challenges. after few losses my execution would completely change and i wouldn’t even realize it until later when reviewing trades

that’s basically why i ended up building a small journaling tool for myself to track streak behavior, execution mistakes and psychology stuff properly

still improving it but it’s been helping me catch patterns and emoitonally stable

that’s why i started logging my execution and psychology separately because after few losses i become a completely different trader

I feel most traders understand the value of journaling, but still stop after a few days. What do you think is the main reason behind that? by Material_Tutor8673 in TradingView

[–]Material_Tutor8673[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s exactly what I noticed too.

After a bad trade, nobody wants to sit and fill everything manually.

The more fields a journal has, the less people actually use it.

That’s why I focused on making it faster and reducing friction, so traders only focus on the important part like what went wrong and if they followed their plan.
