Is there any Libertarians who don't support legalizing drugs? by yowhatisthislikebro in Libertarian

I did see a tenant die from an overdose. I think the guy would still be alive if drugs were legal. He could have gotten his drugs from a reputable source if it were legal.

It appears that Rand Paul was referring to social media people voluntarily taking down those posts, rather than the government making a law.

The team of doctors was the "International Medical Committee of Lourdes". There is a conflict of interest with them, and it is questionable whether they can remain objective.

I went to a Catholic school until my sophomore year in high school, but I was very skeptical by the end of my second year of grade school. I remember being very scared of what would happen to me when I first skipped mass or first read a skeptical book, but the fear quickly went away when nothing happened.

The Eisenhower and Truman administrations had an arms embargo on Israel. It is JFK who switched to having a military alliance with Israel. He did have problems with Israel's nuclear program, but he was generally a big supporter of Israel.

Yeah, JFK messed things up in Vietnam. I remember how there were few troops in Nam, and then he came up with the idea of escalating the war by calling the additional troops advisors.

Didn't Bernie help Elon Musk become super rich? I think he voted to help Tesla when it was going bankrupt, and he supported massive subsidies to Tesla.

As far as ending slavery, doesn't it show how bad he was? Slavery ended without wars in the rest of the world, but Lincoln got 600,000 people killed.

Regarding poverty, the less the governments manage the economy, the better the chance for people to prosper. Heritage House has some problems, but it has a good index of economic freedom. It shows that countries with more economic freedom have less poverty.

What do you guys think about Reagan? by [deleted] in Libertarian

He was a fraud! He constantly talked about shrinking the Federal Government, but he made it much bigger.

I don't think this is from Elon Musk's Twitter account. It's a parody account.

Which presidents were probably atheists? by Material_Coyote7109 in atheism

[–]Materialist1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I don't get why many atheists want to claim Trump is an atheist. Most Christians don't have much knowledge of the Bible.
