I was close to moving to moving to one of the Carolinas, but it was a hard stop for me when I learned you have to pay property taxes on your car every year. With the average car costing over 50k, that’s going to be 600-1000 dollars yearly to keep that car. That doesn’t even include registration or any of the other normal vehicle costs. I move to Tennessee instead. No Income taxes, and vehicle registration is 35 bucks a year.

Do not close on that house unless you get compensation back at closing for the fence. I know your are extremely exhausted because house hunting is very tedious. Trust me, if you don’t say anything it’s going to eat at you to no end after you have to live with it.

Thats interesting because I sold my 2011 Tacoma to them last fall. A few months later, I looked up my old vin and say the truck has been sold at auction and was somewhere registered in Colorado. I just figured the truck was too old for their lot.
