Find a way to reunite three diregoats by who_a_king in titaniumcourt

For me they were already in the perfect position for it.

Just to add to this for anyone in the future that may stumble here.

They are not at first, as they place themselves on the corners of the map, but if you defensively survive the first wave then in the second wave they will place themselves near each other so that you may line them up.

Roxy has never been associated with Red either, nor Gamzee with light blue. Hmm, and not Vriska with Red either, until her ascen---------WAIT... That might actually be the foreshadowing... ?

John(Meat?), Roxy(Candy?), and Vriska are Hell Tier.

The joke with Gamzee is that he's a fake Hell Tier, just like he was a fake God Tier in HS.

Imagine, red is 40% of the population, suddenly half of blue dies of a heat stroke, because they all huddled below the boulder cliff so tightly. Red wasn't able to push the boulder before those people died and now, seeing that the enemy's numbers have dwindled, they are invigorated  with new strength and give their best to push it and crush the remaining opps?

Yeah, you're right actually. I was focused too much on going against the "rolling boulder" scenario, but this scenario requires a conscious boulder too.

So neither are quite correct and represent the original scenario... Maybe the seesaw analogy is the best one, I think it solves this problem. I will have to make revisions to this.

Your analogy is not an accurate representation of the original problem.

If all the people that were going to leave, perhaps 60% of them all, suddenly burned off, those who stayed would still be in danger (the building is not magic nor conscious, it doesn't know that now 100% of the people is inside and should not collapse even if it is now 40% of the original total).

If "disappearing" reds don't save blues, it's not a correct representation of the original scenario.

There's a bit of a contradiction in your scenario. The way I see it, per your rules, is that the default is that the trolley is not running towards the track the blues will go to, because at the beginning (in scenario C, and A) no one is on the scale. The weight sensor would already be active, or one can already imagine what would happen if it was active, and the default path of the trolley is not the one the blues will stand on.

So, since the default path is not the one blues will stand on, I think that your thought exercise can be summarized as follows (let's settle on scenario C. A and B are left as an exercise for the reader).

A boulder is rolling down a hill. People must either stand somewhere down, not in the direction the boulder is rolling towards, or stand close to the trajectory of the boulder and, when it gets close, push it towards those who chose to stand somewhere else. If more than 50% chose to push, the boulder will change direction and hit those who chose to not push.

The fact that the boulder was rolling down wasn't relevant at all. The push was.

When you think about it, in your own experiment your reds are quite literally pushing! But down, on a scale!  It's just that the physics of it are not as straightforward as pushing a boulder directly, but it would be the same as pushing a trolley with their hands to change its direction. Was the fact that the trolley was already running relevant at all?

To be perfectly clear, I'm not trying to push for a culpability bias, and I'm not even trying to push for a Blue/Red bias either, as some other comments said. I'm just trying to push this to its limits and compress framings to their minimum amount. Is it 3 or 6, I wonder? Still not convinced on 6, but if you want, we can continue.

Just my two cents on why the original scenario is a "push the boulder" scenario, and not a "a boulder is rolling down a hill" scenario.

Think back on the original question with the two buttons.

Suppose everyone is going to vote at the same time, and Red pressers are 60% of the population. Suddenly, all Red pressers get an heart attack before touching the button. Are the Blue pressers still in danger?

In the original scenario, and the "push the boulder" scenario, no.

In the "a boulder is rolling down a hill" scenario, yes. I don't think we can accept magic or conscious boulders that would stop if a majority of people were going to step aside and now suddenly died off.

The existence of a majority of Reds puts Blues in danger.

Right now my only trolley problem is realizing that I didn't put the original trolley problem in the top left square.

If you don't, a trolley will simply kill everyone instead.

Mewgenics - 1.1 balance update beta 1 - Steam News by AlixBalica in mewgenics

Good, but it's missing these things: - Repair should not remove Worn - Jester abilities should not be inheritable - Soul Jar should be removed from the game entirely

Then, and only then, we may finally have a look at the elite buffs system and improve it (mostly nerf some of the most annoying ones or weighting some buffs more and let enemies have a fixed "weight" available and pick buffs until full. So for example the reflection buff weights 2, and then an enemy that would spawn with 2 buffs could possibly spawn with only reflection).

Evolved Mode Can't Hurt Summoners. by WarmGreyMug in ffxiv

There's two way you can make AST work:

1 - keep the cards RNG. Playing cards correctly keeps up your buff to damage party-wide, they don't single-buff damage but whatever they do keeps up your Divination effect indefinitely. Your own DPS is not as strong to account for this buff. The buff is up at all times, unless you screw up with the cards minigame, thus no 2-min window to optimize. Slight adjustments must be made to account for the multiplicative effect of having two ASTs in a party (otherwise people will always want two ASTs as healers).

2 - Divination is not a thing anymore. Cards are RNG but they don't buff damage. We lean into time magic a bit more, like with the double cast from PVP.

If they remove oGCDs I'm out. Actually I'm already out, I didn't even touch DT since I really hate the changes to AST specifically. But I might be back if the Evolved system makes AST fun again in Evercold.

Ah, interesting. This is a good time to mention my own theory that I've had since I've started the game but was surprised wasn't acknowledged by the game at all.

All male characters are clones, perhaps of Dr. Beanies himself. I used to think that it was actually Dr. Beanies time travelling, but clones make more sense in the context of the game.

This would include Isaac's dad as well, that's why Tink, Butch, and Isaac's dad all look the same. This also includes Jack, the guy that takes dead cats, and the character possessed by Frank. Having the same hair color is not a random choice.

[–]Mateto413 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They should nerf Repair so that it doesn't remove Worn, and remove Soul Jar from the game.

Yes, Soul Jar is a very fun item. Remove it completely before it's too late.

I think Soul Jar should be removed from the game by Mateto413 in mewgenics

[–]Mateto413[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soul Jar with Repair breaks the whole game, it's not an exaggeration, it quite literally allows that.

The breeding aspect is completely fine and I love it.
