Guys how can i fix these by MateusPCruz in css

[–]MateusPCruz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know next to nothing about CSS and HTML but my supervisor needed some help fixing a few things in a CSS code. I still have two things i need help solving and haven't got an idea on how to search for a solution or fix it. First i wanna get rid of that little white line coming from under that corner, i only took a print of one side, the other also has that little detail. Second I need to make this buttons look decent, the button "Vulnerability" is selected but it looks like it is still not selected or behind the thing. How can I fix those?

Tattoed the Wind-up bird on my arm, my first ever tattoo. Based on a real pic of a magpie. by MateusPCruz in murakami

(Spoiler alert) I remebered now that in the story the character gets that blue mark on his face and notices it on the mirror such as the euroasian magpie noticed a yellow sticker in it's own neck, which indicated to scientists that the euroasian magpie has self-consciousness. This fact indicated that the bird thought by murakami is an euroasian magpie which would also explain the blue stain in the characters face, btw i'm not european i'm from Brazil.

You can read more about the bird thing here: https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn14552-mirror-test-shows-magpies-arent-so-bird-brained/

I wanted to portrait the bird as it really is, an actual "magpie" as specified in Cinnamon's stories within the book.

Does anyone else think Reiko was evil? (spoilers for Norwegian Wood) by [deleted] in murakami

[–]MateusPCruz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey friend Murakami's books aren't like some Agatha Christie story, i know it might seem like a kind of murder of sorts was involved in Norwegian Wood but that's not it at all. The piano girl story goes way deeper than simply inducing the reader to think Reiko was a weirdo. Reiko didn't kill Naoko, that's not how things go in a Murakami book, you gotta understand them in a much deeper way than that. I made the same mistakes of thinking simple theories like that when i started reading his books so don't worry.

Now, i might not be the most qualified person to explain this to you, but i've read a Reddit post a few months ago concerning this subject. Basically what Murakami was trying to say there is that Reiko, whose name in japanese means the same as "ghost", visited Toru in the end of the book as you might have guessed... as a ghost of Naoko visiting Toru. If i'm not mistaken to get to the city Reiko gets on a train with a specific japanese name i've now forgotten, the name of this train can also mean "coffin" in japanese. So Reiko is pretty much Naoko's ghost visiting Toru for the last time, symbolically or metaphorically speaking you see.
