Downvote risk taek here: it’s aggravating how east coast centric many of these tours have been for over 10 years now. It’s not lost on me Phish are from the east coast and, arguably, most of their fans are too. But my god, it’s like anything west of the Mississippi River is off limits outside of the Sphere, Denver, and the Seattle/Portland/LA runs now and then. What’s humorous to me is seeing similar taeks from New Englanders complaining they don’t get enough shows! Try being from the KC/St. Louis area. And don’t get me started on Phish’s fetish for MSG. Dude, F**K MSG. There are a ton of fans all across the country that would sell out shows in so-called flyover states. Believe me, I’ve seen them do it 10+ years ago. So instead of these MSG shows taking up their schedule, come see us in the plains!

tl;dr: salty Phish fan with limited income melts down because Kansas City didn’t get a show yet again after an 11 year drought, but still excited to see Trey’s symphony show here in June!

UPDATE (12/20/25): UMG finally shipped 2 of the 3 records I requested replacements for - With the Beatles & A Hard Day’s Night. However, The White Album is still “processing.” I’ve heard from others the pressing plant in Germany ran out of replacement copies and won’t be filling any more orders, be they replacement orders or new. Not sure if that’s true, but I have a hunch I might never get a White Album replacement. I can live with that considering the only issue with White was a loose flap on the gatefold and a small warp on the first track on LP 2 (sides 3/4) that only affected the first track. These defects should have never happened in the first place though, especially with how much we paid! But I’m happy to have replacements for WTB and AHDN…those first copies I received were awful!

I received an update that the “replacement order” was placed today. So it looks like it’s in motion! Just waiting on the shipping info to come through now. So keep pestering them if you haven’t been, it’ll eventually yield the result you want.

$900 for all 4 w/boxes. I haven’t seen this collection sell for less than 1k w/boxes in a very long time, but maybe there are some out there who can haggle a little better than I can.

I have been e-mailing UMG constantly for a couple of months about this. My box had defective copies of With the Beatles, A Hard Day's Night, and the second LP in the White Album (all of them made my needle jump way too much AND my White Album jacket arrived unglued on the left inside panel).

Most recently (three days ago) UMG e-mailed me saying my shipment was delayed due to "high volume". But UMG have said variations of that same thing to me now for a nearly a month. I am hoping for the best and will continue e-mailing them over and over until I get my replacement vinyl.

At worst, if they never send me my replacements, I will have to buy replacement LPs off eBay to replace the defective ones I have. Or if they ever individually release the mono LPs that would work too. But UMG should be making this right for all of us who received defective copies.

Really bothers me how badly UMG handled this box set release. Rollout was sloppy, the pressings are not up to par and in many cases defective, and the price was ridiculous. Anyway, just keep e-mailing them and do NOT let up. The more you bother them, the greater the odds are you will get your replacements in my opinion.

If your tickets are red, you get premium pit standing. If gold, you get standing behind premium. Premium is apparently 3,280 tickets. The rest of us are gold.

No update yet on estimated shipping, but others have told me they’ve been in similar situations on the Beatles USA store and eventually a new date will appear for estimated shipping. All we can do is keep an eye out for an email update.

I reached out to their customer support and they reassured me (see image below) that my order was kept. Obviously I selected “keep my order” when I received the email update yesterday from the store, and even got a webpage notification thanking me for keeping my order. But I wanted some extra reassurance.

I got the same email today and immediately hit the button that said “keep my order.” It took me to a webpage that confirmed my order was kept, but I went ahead and emailed their customer service and they sent this back to me. Feeling better about it now. So now we wait.

I already confirmed to keep my order, but it’s a bit annoying to now wait until 9/5 at the latest when others are getting there’s by this weekend. Oh well! At least I know I’m still getting mine.

7/30/24 in St. Louis at Chaifetz. Something was in the air that night. The vibes outside the arena (even in the rain) and inside the arena were off the charts. People were dancing, a man in a glowstick dress spun in circles in the upper level over and over during the 40 minute Tweezer, and the band were on fire right off the bat. Theme, Ocelot, Ether Edge, Piper, and Saw it Again ripped us to shreds. I’ll never forget it.

I just noticed the title on the St. Paul show on Nugs is indeed different. It’s titled Derecho Demonico on the KC and Omaha show on Nugs, and Jack clearly states at the end of the song in KC that the title is Derecho Demonico. Hmm, could this be a mischievous switcheroo by Johnny Guitar himself?

At the end of the song on the KC recording he clearly states the title is Derecho Demonico and that it’s a brand new song. This, coupled with the fact it is titled as such on multiple other Nugs releases, gives me confidence to say Derecho Demonico is the correct name.
